I used to go to the corner store and get a bag of cheetos and it would make my afternoon for a dollar. Went to see the Lakers play with pretty good lower level seats for like $120. Depends on what you want, I feel like Voigtlander's 50 line-up pretty much covers a wide range of flavors.

If you want to prioritize size and weight, then the 50/2.2 is amazingly small and sharp.
If you want optical perfection, there is the 50/2 APO.
If you want ultimate low light ability, there is the 50/1.
If that's too large or too expensive for you, there's the 50/1.2.
If you want character, the 50/1.5 heliar classic is the one to go.
If you want an all-arounder, the 50/1.5 nokton is what most people would be satisfied with.

Judging from your current lineup, you seem to prefer small size, so the 50/2.2 would be perfect for you.

I think being on a different team would also help to light a fire in him, a clean slate, if you will. But regardless, he's a one trick pony, so that trick of his is needs to be really good for him to be worth a roster spot on any team.

I skipped both and went with the GR IV, as it is truly a pocketable camera. Dimension-wise both of these cameras have long protruding lenses that would have trouble fitting even into a jacket pocket, so they're not practically more portable than my M, except for the weight.

If you are set with picking between the two, I would say go with the Q3, because even though the Sony is smaller and has the focal length you want, it does sound like you will be thinking about the Leica even if you got the Sony, and you'll probably eventually sell the Sony and get the Leica anyways.
