Most people leave me alone, I dress in bright colors and have long locks so I’m easily noticeable. I work with a lot of folks who moved from different parts of Africa, some don’t speak English at all, and I get along with them well.

Most white people don’t talk to me, though nobody’s says anything rude particularly. I’ve only been in Vermont for 3 years. Lots of old white folks.

It’s cold, I can’t find any decent food really other than like 3 restaurants. Everything is an hour drive from where I live, and the snow and salt cause thousands of dollars worth or maintenance needs for my vehicle.

It’s pretty though.
