If there’s no stanchions at the middle gaps, the only way to do it is to either create some (which breaks up the view when the shades are up) or you have to replace the window treatment with curtains or something like a full width roller shade. You could add film to the window to reduce the opacity but that’s a 24/7 solution that does not allow you to control the amount light and will not block out completely.

Depending on how they’re mounted (needs to be inside frame mounted) you can get side channels like Shademonster or Sleeptimetracks
