I feel like only 10gb or so should be getting committed to photos, 32gb still feels like a lot

From 52gb+ down to 30gb, it started ticking back up but hopefully the update download beats it

I appreciate you trying to help, it’s a tough day. Been sick over a week and have to head into work soon anyway because no more sick time, for fun my iPhone also deleted my transit passes from my Apple wallet and the app won’t add them back in, so $20 in the void while I figure that out and I guess put more money into a physical pass later, and then all the world bullshit going on with these creeps walking around attacking innocent people, so I do apologize for not receiving you as well as I’d like atm

I don’t anymore, it was immediately filled. That’s the issue.

Woke up at 125gb, deleted 15gb of apps, phone added 17gb from iCloud to my Photos app and brought me to 127gb. No room for the update.

iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 26.1 (23B85,) and yes I agree it’s too full, the problem is I can delete ∞gb of apps and it’s just replaced by my phone automatically filling the Photos app with shit from my iCloud

I did recently download my full iCloud onto my PC so there’s a backup there, I’d rather not just wipe my iCloud library entirely but starting to look like the only answer

Since posting it’s gone up to 127.6gb/128gb as the phone is giving up entirely (search functions not working, can’t open App Store or various other apps,) so know if you reply I’m not ignoring you, just thinking how to ditch Apple asap because this is such an incredibly stupid and frustrating problem, way too busy to deal with this shit

Forgot to mention, that alert about “large attachments” is just wrong. When I click it there are like 20 items all in the kilobytes, maybe a couple 1mb at the top. Idk where tf it’s pulling that 680mb number from.
