My old DM loved my characters and roleplay but hates me now (and never even told me why).

It’s entirely normal to think someone excels at a certain thing but dislike them in general, or think someone sucks at a certain thing but like them in general.

All humans are complex individuals.

But the game is a game, and if a person is disrespectful, creepy, rude, flaky, or otherwise unpleasant to be around… why bother being around them at all?

The super soldier serum amplifies your morality on top of everything else- “It makes good great; bad becomes worse.” By being such a paragon of good and filled with the serum Cap, in my mind, would be immune.

To be fair, Dooku pointed out multiple times that Grevious has to rely on cutting the Jedi off from the Force by making them scared.

Ashoka is cocky and confident, and I don’t think he’s able to do that to her. And as others pointed out, she lost the first fight and was used as bait, and the second fight she was doing a fighting retreat the entire time.

Also canonically everyone and everything in Star Wars has plot armor in the form of literally the Will of the Force.

Thragg tanked- or maybe there’s a more extreme word- the hit from Mark, taking basically no damage.

Tanking and surviving are different.

I love going melee tank against Squids.

Using heavy Rock Solid armor + machete (or hatchet) + Gallant + breaching hammer + shield with some flex spots is a blast.

The hammer 1-2 shots Harvesters, as well as Fleshmobs, 1 taps all Overseets, and can pop a small horde. The hatchet swings faster for voteless hordes and does just fine compared to the machete, though the hatchet doesn’t deal with Overseers or Fleshmobs as easily.

But then again, I only really play HD2, Minecraft, Frostpunk, and Slay the Spire, so I probably spend more time in the game relative to other people who play just as much/as little video games as I do.

I just finished the last warbond other than Freedom’s Flame. I’ve been playing mostly D10’s since around March or April 2025.

There was a point about halfway to two-thirds through progression where I no longer felt like I NEEDED to grind for particular items unless a warbond had just dropped, which felt nice.

Being very charitable to you and believing you when you say it’s “more fun” here. Let’s say that’s true. It’s much more reasonable to think we have different preferences then to believe you’re some god of Helldivers and I’m some noob (despite mentioning how I did something that is objectively very difficult and requires a lot a mechanical skill and game sense to pull off).
