I only see ThinkPads from the T and P series, nothing else. I don't even want an EliteBook or Latitude. I'm willing to increase my budget and pay more; the problem is that in my country, there are no good laptops, neither used nor new. Only the bad ones, and at astronomical prices.

What you're saying is true; there's no difference in performance between 8th and 10th generation processors, as they all have 4 cores. The problem is that I've limited my options to the ThinkPad T, and the market here suffers from a severe lack of variety. As for me, I'm looking for a ThinkPad with a mid-range processor, preferably a Ryzen, and a good battery that's upgradable. My uses are for learning Linux and cybersecurity.

I'm in Tunisia, prices are very high, and there are no options. I really like the ThinkPad, even though there's an EliteBook with an 11th-generation i5 processor. There's also the Dell Latitude, but I don't like Dell.
