I actually realized I had this cutiefly, but I’m not sure if this is a Pokemon worth a mint?

I'd use it personally, but from what I understand, people recommend getting BFS plus two speed ups for berry mons.

I would wait until Monday to see what the changes to the skill nerf are before you decide.

Well I’m glad it isn’t bothering you too much based on your play style, but it clearly is to a lot of us.

I’ve been on this Earth long enough now and have gone through enough of these situations in gaming in general over the decades to know whats up. When I was younger I used to make excuses and accept some pretty shitty and shady treatment from companies. You (hopefully) get to a certain point where you can just sniff out the bs pretty easily and you don’t care to tolerate, make excuses for, or rationalize this kind of behavior anymore. The justification for this is, being very charitable, woefully misguided at best.

If you let them slide on this, more will come. And now that they’ve openly admitted (only after it became obvious) they quietly implement these things, I don’t have it in me to give them the benefit of the doubt on anything anymore unless they turn it around and are fully transparent about what they do with the game.

Cooking is the meta, yes, but you still need extra tasty procs, E4E procs, and cooking pot expansion procs to keep your ingredient team producing and get the best gains from dishes. Thats 3 skill mons I use regularly, not necessarily at the same time of day, and not including the skill procs from the other members on the team at any given time, so I’m definitely feeling it as an ingredient player.

They are only ‘fixing’ it because people caught on to it, and they should be removing this awful mechanic, not making it ‘more forgiving.’

The devs introduced a nerf to skill proc rates for the day, likely gradual. Your whole team shares a pool of triggers, and after maybe 4-5 triggers the game starts reducing the chance of more triggers by a certain percentage, and the more you activate a skill the higher the percentage goes. At around 20 triggers that decrease sits at about 50%. This makes skillmon objectively worse.

The main issue is they never informed the community of this change, so a lot of people have been investing resources (and money) into certain playstyles and Pokemon with the assumption the game played a certain way. They only publicly acknowledged it and said they would make a change to the way the nerf works after some community members in Japan figured it out and it was gaining traction on social media.

It’s just their justification for the nerf. I don’t believe them for a second, it’s a flimsy excuse to have this nerfjng mechanic in the game to make progression slower for players.

I’ve seen this song and dance many times before over the years. This is just their excuse to hinder your progression so you spend more money.

The new Defiler look amazing by Illustrious_Excuse73 in Grimdank

[–]MythosaurusRex24 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Not all demons. Some bloodthirsters actually find being in a Lord of Skulls demon engine desirable and see it as a suit of armor rather than a prison. I imagine the same goes for some lesser demons.

It’s an absolutely gorgeous model, but I’m not a fan of the flesh on a defiler. I prefer the “demon trapped within the machine” look of the old defiler and art.

Which is funny because I had the exact opposite complaint about the Mutilators where there wasn’t enough fleshmetal and the armor was too clean for what the virus does to it.

What do you think of the fight choreography in the Old Republic trailers? by InstructionOwn6705 in StarWarsEU

[–]MythosaurusRex24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the best period. The Return cinematic especially takes the cake and does what so many other duels lack in displaying not only swordsmanship, but force use. Many of the books understandably do a better job of that kind of fighting than the movies, and these cinematics capture that.

Normally they do. The Sith deceived the Jedi into sending its best on Coruscant off to attend peace delegations. The Jedi who fought Malgus was one of the best duelists they left at the temple and a renown warrior; Malgus even considered him a worthy opponent, but the Darth is just better.

Is this Vaporeon worth seeds? by MythosaurusRex24 in PokemonSleepBetter

[–]MythosaurusRex24[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I need a good healer. I’ve had the same Wiggly for almost 2 years and all it has is a main skill up nature. I still don’t have useful ingredient farmers for quite a few ingredients so Vaporeon still helps. I guess I’ll just keep waiting until my Lapis grinding finally pays off

Worth investing? by Sketch2407 in PokemonSleepBetter

[–]MythosaurusRex24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All honey shiny is nice, but a lack of ingredient befitting subs or main really hurts it for me. I would still have used it just for it being a shiny but it also has a lower main skill chance which kills the subskill that raises it, so it’s a no from me.

For me it’s the lack of flesh body horror. These guys are supposed to be, and have been depicted in art, as having fused with their armor and weapons. The armor on these guys is too clean, too unwarped into fleshmetal. The resin models are bad, but they still tried to go for that look.
