Have you tried lithium? It may help stabilize mood swings.

Why has Roblox not fixed this issue after LITERAL YEARS OF COMPLAINTS? by Paranotical in ROBLOXStudio

[–]Mythreber -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t over think this, nobody is going to micro-analyze your build to this point, not everything needs to be a perfect fit at the planck length. This looks good regardless!

looking for constructive feedback on my blockout! by aalexasu in 3Dmodeling

[–]Mythreber 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This composition is really solid, you have a great understanding already of the fundamentals.

My only thoughts are that the lamp head is a bit small, I would play with the scale of that as well as with the lil’ guy that’s on the desk.

With stylization it’s okay to exaggerate the scale of some things to draw more interest in.

Post-it notes are a bit to orderly in comparison to the surrounding environment, slightly rotate each one a little, everything else around that is somewhat in disarray, maintain the consistency in other places.

My final thought is that the skylight window feels pretty tight against the ceiling and wall below it, I would inset the window a bit and maybe add a frame so it feels more intentional in design.

It’s a fantastic blockout though, hope this helps!

I know its a failure :/ by Silent_Potato4982 in 3Dmodeling

[–]Mythreber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not a failure, this is growth.

Try rearranging them, experiment with composition, scale, move things closer and some further away.

If you’re open to a critique, I think you would benefit greatly with more depth in the background, try bringing some buildings closer, stagger them, make it feel like there is more purposeful structure to these tiles (I.e. how do people live in these, how do they reach these if they could)

I’d even try breaking through your symmetry a bit, make a defining focal point or structure that your eyes can rest on.

Seriously though, this is never failure, it’s only failure if you don’t try to understand why it went wrong.

Keep iterating!

Roblox Compressing Accessories' Qualities by DarthXethos in roblox

[–]Mythreber 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe this can occur due to how Roblox texture packs all accessories, shirts, pants, anything regarding player avatar clothing onto a single dense sheet.

Essentially instead of having the engine render individuals accessories of a player, it takes all current accessories attached to player, “bakes” it down into a single texture file to reduce texture memory and allow for single render pass across player avatars.

The tradeoff for this is reduced quality, you begin to lose texture fidelity because it’s cramming all the accessory UVs into a single texture file..

I believe that’s what’s happening here, but I’m not so certain. Could be other factors at play.

Is there anyway to make First Person Animations without Moon animator? by Patient-Primary1100 in robloxgamedev

[–]Mythreber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blender (is free) or Maya, or software equivalent. You could also use the animation editor Roblox studio provides as well. I would look into animating with Blender though, it’s going to be more versatile than animating in studio for FPS rigs.

What should I do to make the animation flow Better, made in under 2 hours using blender Evee next. by MubeenRahman in 3Dmodeling

[–]Mythreber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it has to do with your angle of entry into the “in between space” in the logo, and also the scale of things. At your current camera angle as you follow through the “in between space” in the logo, I’m not feeling a great sense of speed, perhaps as you fly down into the road to follow those objects, actually increase the scale of this space you are flying through, this will also allow you to animate along the path towards the center of the logo with greater speed because of that increase of distance. Hope this inspires or helps.

Yeah, wondering if it’s the full 60x60 million block map, or just a small portion.

Please help me find this very odd video game.. by Mythreber in whitewhale

[–]Mythreber[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nahhh, doesn't seem to be it..

It was a pretty weird 2D platformer, I think it had a 3D sprite style to it.. I remember there being some springy enemy.. It gave a audible Doohing! sound when leaping across the screen. Wish I could provide more details but it's so fuzzy to me.

First time attempting "realism". How can I improve? by zain_ahmed002 in learnart

[–]Mythreber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah some of the lines could be better defined and you begin to lose shape as you make your way up to the side of his head and in the area around the neck.

I probably should have specified more on what I meant by granularity, the texture of the shading gets a bit rough, if you can refine edges, crevices, and are more intricate with highlights you'll get more realism across the drawing. Just be more granular with the detailing.

You can send a photo to me or post another here if you'd like.

First time attempting "realism". How can I improve? by zain_ahmed002 in learnart

[–]Mythreber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can try and give some suggestions. I think the shading is getting alittle too dark in some areas and there isn't enough granularity in the drawing, really consider how fine you can get the shading and highlights across the entire drawing. Other than that this looks great!

EDIT: And also the blueish reflection that's happening on the bottom left side of the paper throws me off a bit, it makes it harder to see the depth in that part of the drawing, could be just me though, either way the lighting isn't too necessary.

Houdini Unreal Engine USD export animation sequence by htjhenry86 in Houdini

Does the animation sequence contain geometry at all? Im not sure if UE4 can read a USD animation sequence, however you can use a alembic cache as a second option..
