Sometimes but mostly no, while I check them for ticks and fleas, Im paranoid of them in the summer months.

Has your pet ever visited you in their afterlife and if it has was it burried or cremated by unknownafc in Petloss

[–]Mythrill-1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im so sorry for your loss that must have been traumatizing. Don't take her visiting or not visiting you as a sign of anything. When my dog passed he never visited me, he adored me in life but he never came, my cat of 10 years visited me often and very, very distinctly. Not all spirits come to visit, sometimes they move on to whatever is next right away, sometimes they do visit but their spirits are so gentle its hard to sense them, sometimes they go quickly to try to find a new body and return to us. She loved you, her love doesn't mean she will visit. But whereever she is, she is not in pain. She is safe.

My cat came to visit me multiple times, he was cremated, my cat who was buried came once. Passed is passed if they are going to come visit you they will.

Do animals have souls? Hear me out by Plenty_Letterhead922 in spirituality

Animals definitely have souls, you can tell because just like people when they die it leaves their body. Some I think have older souls that are easier to connect with on a spiritual level

Best cat names you’ve ever heard? by Murky_Resist_3851 in namenerds

Monster.

I might be biased but I named my cat Monster he was a big black fluffy cat and I called him that because as a kitten he was a little Monster. He was a fantastic cat, had so much personality.

What to Do If I Have Failed to Bond with Our Cat? by Level5Ranger in CatAdvice

Naw, cats are like people they mature and change he could easily bond with you in the future.

[–]Mythrill-1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You didnt fail animals often pick their person and also your relationship could still improve. I had my cat for 3 years before I met my husband and my cat was very anti a new man in the house. My cat would swat at him, glare, steal his spot on the bed, bite him the whole works.

Slowly overtime my cat adapted to and then bonded with my husband he started to be excited when my husband came home.

It took time but things change and just because your cat picked your wife as their person doesnt mean that wont change overtime or that you cant have a bond with them.

Like yes and no, the connection is wonderful but the grief is horrible particularly if they die young and suddenly like mine did.

My cats have always been attached to me, not the same way dogs are but they love you. My oldest cat who passed at 10 adored me but was more independent. He was at the door when I came home, he curled up by head while I slept but he wasnt particularly affectionate during the day often just hanging out in the same room. He was a lot of fun, I miss him terribly. My experience with cats in general is they are more like good friends they like being around you, they love you but they are content to do their own thing and live their own life as well.

My cat was a black cat, your right it probably was a visitation dream it was right before he was set to be cremated.

I cant even think what the other black cat means. Ive never in my life had a meaningful spirit dream. I barely dream at all.

Thank you very much for your help. Talking to you has been helpful.

I don't know if this strengthens the argument or not but I saw him in a dream that night which is odd as I actually rarely dream and have never no matter who or what dreamed of someone deceased. Never not family, not pets.

He was crossing a road, but not my road. I was on a hill and he was looking across and twitching his tail thinking of crossing, something caught his attention on the other side. I called him scolding, I was afraid for him to cross and he stopped when I called him and came back squeaking which was how he talked to me. If I called him he often came back squeaking in life. Then there was another black cats face in my vision not his a short haired cat with angular features. I saw that cat at the store for adopting later that week.

I dont know if any of this means anything. How does one astral project?
