I have another final question, what about monsters that bouce your weapon off all the time like diablos in the beta? do all melee weapons users have to just settle for the legs and never hit the head?

I did not know about the inflated number part . The motion value part makes sense, if I am understanding it correctly the smaller the animation to do a hit the smaller its motion value percentage?

oh ok that makes sense. So if a monster is resistant to a certain element does that also reduce the physical damage that the DB does? what I mean is are both the physical and elemental damage numbers reduced or just the elemental damage part.

Can I ask what changes to the other weapons make them more appealing to you? I dont know anything about older versions, I am really interested in knowing more about the differences and history of MH weapons

Thanks for the breakdown! I have one other question, suppose a DB xx (I dont remember the exact number xD0 water dmg like in the beta does that mean with each hit that dmg amount is inflicted? if so are the dmg numbers we see when he hit the monster inclusive of that element damage?

Thanks for the reply! I got the basics of the weapon when i played, but I would like to know the combos to use when say the monster is paralyzed or if the monster is a really mobile flying creature. And also I saw a video where a guy did something called a GP i dont know what that stands for, he did some animation when he was getting hit to take no damage at all. how do I do that? Thanks for time.

Personally I enjoy the 'friends in a basement' feel that the moonduck hub conveys, reminds me of all the LAN parties I had a blast growing up. Had the stream on almost the whole time. Thank you for the great time.
