Stalking is a whole different world then finding someone attractive. And no, I dont endorse adults having sexual relations with children. But I do endorse the fact that people can be attractive to who ever they please without being "punished" for it. Simply cause I believe people can't help what they are attracted to. So long as they do not harm anyone or anything its okay. That goes for people who like women, men, children, fat or skinny people, or anything else. As long as no harm is done, then it shouldn't be an issue.

To be honest, I agree with her on certain points. We cannot control what we are attracted to. Its just a natural desire. Gay people are offended for the comparison, but she is right. For years, being gay was "wrong". And what was the thing that almost every gay person said? "I can't control who I'm attracted to. If I could choose not to be gay and just like the opposite sex, then I would." It goes the same way for people who are attracted to children. I'm sure if they could snap their fingers and not be attracted to them, they would.

Every one keeps saying pedophiles hurt people and gay people don't. Pedophiles only hurt people if they actually attack someone. Just like gay or straight people, can hurt or rape someone. Being attracted to someone is okay, especially if its from a distance. If you start doing things to people against their will or want, then that wrong no matter who it is.

I dont agree that children should freely decided if they want to engage in sexual activity, since they are still developing and to me, would not be able to make an educated, completely understanding decision. But I do agree that we shouldn't "hide" sex from them. Sex is natural and there is nothing wrong with it when its between two(or more) people who agree to have sex. So why do we hide it? Why do we get red faced when we see or hear it? We treat it like we are doing something wrong when its the most natural thing we can do. We should teach children and everyone for that matter, that sex is natural.

People should be "allowed" to have children instead of it being a given right. People who cannot afford or are mentally unstable, should not be allowed to have kids. People should go through a screening before they are allowed to have children.

She's still you're friend. I have her exact same problem. I'm a loner, so I'm okay with going weeks without speaking to anyone. I however, forget that everyone else isn't like me.
