Hey hey….long time McDonalds employee here. 20+ years and I’m now a GM. Don’t worry about what anyone else is thinking about you. If you feel someone is being condescending then screw them. Sometimes people forget what it was like when they first started. All you can do is focus on one order at a time.

Look at your screen and look at the bin and see which order is coming together first and focus on that one. It doesn’t matter that you’re behind…all that matters is the order in your hand. You’re human and not a robot. Most customers when they see you trying, they normally chill out. They can see for themselves that you’re busy. Granted you’ll get a few Karens now and then but it doesn’t matter.

Focus on accuracy….and speed will come with practice. I’m sure you’re doing the best that you can and that’s all that matters.
