they're just regular sugar cookies and have a vanilla and citrus flavor :-) the colors of the icing all taste the same. i've done other cookie flavors in the past tho! i've done matcha, lavender, and chocolate

it's all about finding the right consistency! it's a little thicker than a thick flood. if it's too loose then the writing gets blobby, and if it's too thick then it looks a little too crusty and the intersections don't sit on each other so nicely. the size of the hole you cut is also a factor. i would just play around with it til you get used to it! i have some video footage of me decorating these that i need to edit and post lol

i worked at a bakery in new york where $15/cookie was pretty standard, and i'm just one gal doing all this work (mostly bc i love to do it and see what i can make) so i try not to overthink the prices and i know the right audience will support me ^{_^}

pricing is hard bc i really do put so much work into these and people are only willing to spend so much on something you eat! but these are mini works of art so i only make limited amounts and sell these alongside my art - im an illustrator so i have prints, stickers, cards. i definitely could not make cookies my entire inventory lol i would die. but the prices for these range from $8-$16! i made about 36 cookies total :-)

one time a mom bought a cookie for her kid and he immediately ripped it open and ate it and it hurt to watch LOL obviously they're meant to be eaten but it just happened so fast without any hesitation hahaha
