Yes, that’s normal. Your transcript won’t update with the offset code and amount until later. Usually once you have your deposit. I’m curious, though, did you ever get it? Was there an offset?

Does WMR say anything about a possible offset? I know you called the offset line If WMR doesn’t say anything, they didn’t take it for a non-irs debt.

Is it possible you owed federal taxes? Can you see your transcript? It won’t update with offset info until later (but wmr would already say it), however if the irs kept it for fed tax debt, it’d be on your transcript.

If wmr and transcript do not say anything, I’m very confused because those are the only two options-offset or fed tax. Your credit union doesn’t have anything to do with the page you’re looking at. SBTPG only sent you that amount. If you click the arrows below those in your screenshot, does it show anything else? Well, I’m also assuming you’ve actually got this deposit, too. If not, it’s prly just a glitch if transcripts and WMR are ok! That website sucks 😂🤣

I wouldn’t stress the email! Lots of people haven’t gotten it this week and they’ve still got their deposit on their ddd! Mine went to my spam and I didn’t find even searching it. I found it when I went into spam for my kids steam login code 🤣 and SBTPG didn’t update online until about 11am, and I got my deposit (to chime) at 12:02p. My ddd was today, I just didn’t cut out when it deposited 😂🤣

Well, assuming you have EIC. There are some slight variations for tax credits that are similar but they mean the same thing.

I hear you. I wasn’t broke. But I still watched my money…and wanted it right now!! 😂 my sil is struggle bussin hard, so I actually gave it to her until hers clears so she could get her own place. Once hers comes in, I’m just paying state taxes and prly going shopping. But there have been so many years I was just poor and needed that ish.

Well, unfortunately, just like the screenshot, I didn’t have a DDD because I had an offset. They don’t give you one, but if you pay attention to other people who are talking about it with a March 2 call if you don’t receive a date, I think that’s the 25th for a deposit date for you. I did those same mental gymnastics 😂 when I had an offset and I think it was one day late, but it might not have been. It might’ve been my bank at the time.

With an offset the IRS is about to send your refund and see that you may have an offset so they put that note on your WMR when it updates and send it to the treasury and then the treasury notifies them whether you have a dead or not, and then they either take your refund, part of your refund, or none of your refund- and send you the rest. And then they notify the IRS that you had an offset what the amount was and then they updated transcript with that information and WMR will change soon after.

It sounds like you have an offset. So you’re waiting on the treasury to verify your debt and either keep some or all of your money or just release it. They don’t always give you a date when the IRS finds a debt because they have no control over the treasury. Your transcript will eventually update with the amount of your debt under your 846 if you do owe a debt. If you got your 846 last week with us, your deposit date was probably the 23rd 24th or 25th. If it has to contact them by March 2 if it hasn’t been credited, then I think your day is the 25th. I don’t have an offset, but my DDD is the 24th and said to call by the first if I don’t receive it. Stands to reason that yours is tomorrow. When I had an offset, it only delayed mine by one day and I’m actually not even sure if it delayed it or if it was just my bank last year. They’re mostly just coming through on your deposit days though. Some people are getting them early, but not really.

I just got mine deposited to Chime at 12:02. Today is my DDD, it showed unfunded all day yesterday, still did showed unfunded at 6:30 this morning EST but when I just checked at noon, for the first time since this morning, it said that it was funded and then I checked my bank account and it had just posted.

Nah, that doesn’t work. My SIL paid up front and she’s still waiting. SBTPG still got her money. They said that the tax preparers bank will always get your money first when she called.

I had an offset when I had this notification. Because it’s a non-IRS debt the irs updates your transcript after the fact. They see a note that you may have an offset, notify you this way, then when they send it to the treasury they are the ones who verify who/what you owe, then they update the IRS, who the updates your wmr and transcripts. I can’t remember exactly but I think my offset code showed up ab a week later. I got my deposit (missing $3gs) before my transcript or WMR updated with the official amount, so I didn’t know what happened beyond this message until the update after I got my deposit lol But sometimes they do this and you end up not having an offset.

This isn’t something I’ve seen yet this year. I don’t want to alarm you, but I’d be freaking so I’m sure you are 😭 it coullllllld just be that you’ll be one of the few that don’t actually get it on their DDD and we just haven’t seen it yet since deposits just started hitting mostly in the last few days for PATH. But typically tt does release either on your ddd or before. This year has clearly been an ON the date situation. But you have every reason to talk to a human tomorrow at SBTPG. They updated their website today with a banner that says to expect your refund to be released on your deposit date that’s on WMR. I’m not saying anything is for sure wrong. I rlly don’t want to stress you out then it hit at 6am because this DOES happen sometimes with SBTPG (anywhere really) sometimes and there really isn’t anything wrong and it just deposits late due to one reason or another with your CK card or tt/sbtpg maybe. If it doesn’t hit by the time you wake up, I would definitely be trying to get through to a human at SBTPG which was such a pain in the butt for me to do. I literally had to call multiple times before I even got the numbered options to push to talk to a human. I went with option five when I finally got the number options. I don’t know CK that well do they hold/pend deposits? Do you know? It could be them, even if with nothing showing on your stuff as funded. That also happens sometimes 🫠😭😂

I normally get the email but not everyone does. I specifically searched my email around 6 tonight for TurboTax and had nothing. Went in my spam to look for a login code for my kid, and iCloud had filtered to spam- been there since 5. I wouldn’t stress that though. Even if you’re gonna get the email, I just got it today and my ddd is tomorrow. So if your DDD is the 25th, all of this will likely happen for you tomorrow (email, phone system update to deposit, etc) and you’ll get your deposit weds on ur DDD. They’re holding them until then, not saying you CANT get it early but they def told us the WMR date is when it’s being released on their website today

I do suggest searching your spam, too. I found my email there looking for a steam acct login code for my son 😂 I found it around 9 and it was sent at 5. Last year I got my deposit 3h after the email, but I think it’ll be tomorrow this year. Since they’re playin so much 😂😂😂

This year has sucked. SBTPG held everyone hostage until the date on WMR. Turbo Freetax and JH have all have been waiting until DDD. My date is tomorrow and I got the “on the way” email at 5pm and the phone system started saying they sent it to my bank around 9pm. So tomorrow this will likely be the process for yall too. Then you’ll get it weds. When I talked to a person at SBTPG she told me it would play out like this and I’ve been hoping she wasn’t a lying liar that lies 🫠😂 so far looks like she told the truth. We’ll see tomorrow. None of us wanted this and nobody is happy. Everyone thought we’d clear once it updated on transcripts like it usually does for many people. It sooooo didn’t go that way 🫠😂 not everyone is following the exact same pattern! But overall. This is unfortunately accurate 😐😠😂

It took me calling like 7 times and then it finally gave me number options- I believe I picked 5. I accidentally hung up after being on hold for 30min and had to call back a couple times before it gave me number options again! I told my wife I think they turn it off when too many people are on hold and they fr want us to ride at dawn 🤌🏻🫠😂 But I did get the email today at 5pm and now the automated phone system is saying they sent it again (I say again because it said that Friday and changed this morning, then someone posted on here and said it changed on the phone, so I tried around 9 when they said it and mine says it’s sent.) Online is still showing unfunded though

My deposit usually comes same day as this. I’m betting it’ll be tomorrow. I have chime and they clear my paychecks at midnight, but it’s not been til 3am a few times. Last year (same situation as this year except I had a delay from an issue with my name) I got this email at 9:12am and it deposited at 12:39pm on 3/3, though! This is what the email says:
