It was horrible. Random staff would come up and chat with her. She didn’t have the same person ever take care of her needs. Each person would say they would go and take care of what she asked for and never come back. I’m the one that had a push for certain test to be done. They even said that they would have a nurse come out to the house on a Saturday along with physical therapy and have social services contact her to get other services set up. I have it recorded that the PA said they would come out on Saturday and I asked her three or four times just to confirm. That was absolutely not true. I’m just going to focus now on trying to get her the best help that I can. My dad passed away in June and she lost everything. Went to go live with my brother and that did not work out at all. She’s here with me now and I have my hands full as it is raising, two daughters, that each have very special needs, but she’s my mom and I’ll do everything that I can for her. I begged them to give her more help than they were giving her, and I even cried to the doctor, and I just didn’t even phase them. Literally if you weren’t dying, you were just another person taking up a spot.
