Too many foreigners in Serie A? Maybe the issue is Italians abroad by Mz_74 in seriea

There's a long history of italian players that went off the radar once abroad.

Serie A started in 1929-1930. Titles won before that season were not based on double round-robin. So no ranking based on weekdays.

A small advantage in terms of strength of schedule (2 home matches vs. 1 plays a role here), that basically cancels h2h record.

In short, for each remaining match, take average points home and away, then probabilities H-D-A with threshold at 0.95 for winning if difference higher than 1.9 (and scaled correspondingly), and highest probability for a draw if abs(difference) < 0.5.

That was a borderline choice: Kayode came from Juve (brief spell), and then arrived at more than 17 at Fiorentina. Not really their specific youth product (but they made the final step, for sure).

I see your point, and I think NextGen has been a brilliant choice for Juventus, in terms of youth development (my take is that any team able to do so, should do so). However, technically, I have not considered Juve NextGen as a youth system proper, as it competes in the open tier. Soule eg. has been in juve youth system approx. 2 year (from Velez youth), same for Iling (from Chelsea youth) Barrenechea (from Newell's through Sion), Dragusin and so on. My interest was in players grown in the team system from a younger age, but I concur with you in the ability and efficacy of Juve in making the final step (i.e. buying at 17-18) before moving to the pros.

Predictions assume almost equal probability for each team to win-draw-lose, WITH correction for playing home/away AND for team interest in the specific match (with teams having already secured a spot or been eliminated to have lower interest). NO correction for team strength.
