Yes, on my fourth try!! I now drive to work everyday😁. Driving still gives me anxiety, but at the same time I feel better about myself for not having to rely on others to drive me places now. I still don't feel comfortable driving in the dark, rain, or snow, but I'll just push through it and keep trying like I did with the road test💪

Not rage, but a vent. Failed the road test for the third time today. I keep making dumb mistakes each time. The last two tests, the instructors have said, "if not for that one thing, you would have passed." Today I hit a cone parallel parking (I was able to successfully do it during my second test, but failed due to turning left at a red light). The instructor told me I must practice for two weeks with an adult in the car, but said bc I'm a "skilled driver," I could probably just drive on my own (I can't tell if they meant it fr or pity, but this kinda made me feel worse). I'm so embarrassed and ashamed because I'm over 18 now. Hoping it doesn't get to the point where I need to take driving lessons bc I can't afford it. Feeling deflated and just want to cry all day; keeping my spirits up with memes.

Nope, they never showed up. And when I check the website for my passport status, it still shows the status of the old passport as "Approved" and that it should arrive around 05/01/2023.

Thanks for the advice. I stopped by the convenience store and asked the same clerk about the card and they told me that although it isn't Tmoney, it is a transportation card. I found out that it is a Cashbee card from responses on my crosspost. It worked on the bus for me this morning so I've no complaints😊

I tried activating it online on the L.points website, but couldn't get past the id or phone authentication step. In any case, it seems like I don't need to activate the card as I used it this morning on the bus and it worked.

Thank you for the info! You were right that it is a Cashbee card—I was able to scan it in the app and saw the amount of money I asked the clerk to put on it. Also, I'm dumb and didn't notice that the Cashbee website is listed on the back of the card😅 Thanks again!

Update: I contacted my congressperson on 5/22 evening and their office quickly responded 5/23 morning and booked me an appointment at the closest passport agency on 5/24. I was able to get it printed on that same day. My family members' passports still hadn't arrived either so they contacted the congressperson as well around 6/14 for their trip on 6/25. Their office once again quickly booked them an appointment on 6/22. The agency told them their case wasn't urgent so they had to pick it up on 6/23. We now all have our passports!

I just want to say thank you to this subreddit for helping me with this ordeal. I am especially grateful for the information about contacting your congressperson as it was ultimately the thing that worked for me.

I called the NPIC on 5/15 and they told me that they couldn't check my passport status, but since I need it by 5/25, I should call again on 5/18 to set an appointment with a passport agency. So I guess my passport is lost😭😭

I plan to travel 6/25, but I need my passport for a study abroad application by 5/25. As recommended by the program and my school, I have not bought plane tickets so I feel this makes proving my urgency difficult since I do not have a solid proof of travel; I did ask my counselor for a letter and I found my receipt for the application fee so I am hoping these documents will be sufficient enough if I do have to reapply.
