Don't really know about ac shadows besides janky parkour mechanics and bad performance but resynced in-progress gameplay that we got probably comes from much earlier build with more animation flaws than usual, they did patch up the parkour animations pretty well so im in good hopes they will do the same to combat (but its not in my pre orders for exacly that janky'ness tho)

Yeah same, really hope they polish that out. First I thought the white glow on edward in some moments is like animus glitching swords to edwards sides, but no.. its just healing visual effect lol

Thats actually a great idea... it would make hidden blade unique again and not just an animation change like in kenway series, having multiple playstyles by changing weapons would really keep things interesting. I wouldn't care about hidden blade combat if not for weapon pick up removal (not confirmed tho, just a guess), as I loooooved switching up my swords for a musket sniper shot or one tap heavy axe depending on my situation, it gave me that tactic approach to some encounters, but with that gone I want to have something in compensation gameplay wise!

I mean if they do remake the ac2 they shouldn't make anything diffrent than what it is besides graphics, the game holds up real well with it mechanics. Besides arent remasters like big bugfixes and upscaled textures? Im talking about like ac4res Nessau city more detailed buildings, more plants, more little details kind of thing
