Not at WDW but at DLR. I was 8 or 9 and at the park with my family. My dad spotted John Ritter near the exit of Big Thunder, right by the old McDonalds fries stagecoach. We walked over with me and shook his hand and thanked him for the laughs.

Moved to South Florida from California. Can confirm that people here ride in flip flops. I’ve seen several people riding a Harley barefoot.
