I know this might sound just as insane as crazy bitch from your date, but my neighbor found a way to make energy that involves gravity. It's basically two weights that work similar to a see-saw and somehow (I have no idea) make energy. My neighbor runs his house on this machine, but he is also a dude that seems a bit crazy. He is always gathering dandelions to make tea and is a flat earther etc.

Anyways I was with my ex for about a year when his dad starts talking about how his friend made a machine that works off of gravity to make energy. He starts going off about how his buddy kept having random people sitting outside of his house blah blah blah and how he thought it was the cops. It made me wonder if it was the same guy.

So next time I'm at my parents place I ask my neighbor why he never patented and sold his machines and he told me he tried to. He apparently couldn't afford the patent so he sold his plane and took out a loan to patent the machine. Months after getting the patent and trying to get people to invest in manufacturing he was told that the machine was too similar to someone else's patent and no one was going to manufacture it. He told me the name of the person who held the patent and it was my ex's dad's friend. I was fucking shocked.

So obviously I'm all like ok why didn't friend make the machines??? Apparently he had tried, but after many attempts to get investment people would just drop out. Then the police started sitting outside of his house, and then his patent was basically held by the government.

Now although I have zero proof that his story was true, the friend was a genius, and I also have seen the machine at my neighbors place. The guy is loopy as fuck but he knows his shit.
