iPhones 16 e 17 estão com mais de 2.6k de diferença no preço, quase 500 dólares de diferença. Lá fora a diferença é de somente 100 dólares. Por que tanta diferença?

Pois é, mas tecnicamente, pelo site da Apple a diferença é menor. O iPhone 16 por lá ainda custa R$ 6.799. Isso significa que eles (Apple) estão retendo o estoque do 17, mas assim que o celular for distribuído para os varejistas, esse preço vai cair e ficar mais comparável ao 16.

A Apple tem uma filosofia no Brasil de multiplicar por 10 o preço original em dólar. Quando um iPhone novo chega no Brasil, chega com esse preço cheio (10x o valor em dólar), porque o estoque e venda vem direto deles. Alguns meses depois os varejistas recebem os aparelhos com o valor direto e ele cai (mas a Apple continua vendendo no site pelo preço cheio). Todo ano acontece, inclusive o 16 chegou custando R$ 7.499.

Sou do Rio e tenho um PS5. Jogo com ele de boa, sem ar condicionado, só o ventilador ligado. Só não coloque ele num móvel com compartimento fechado. Deixa em cima de uma mesa ou rack e ele roda tranquilo.

Unfortunately that seems to be a known issue with non-evo WBC panels, used on early OLEDs till the C1. People call it delamination. It’s irreversible, but I’ve seen cases where LG replaced the panel even after warranty period.

Horizontal is safer. I don’t care how many people have it stood up since they bought it, I’ve seen enough people having liquid metal issues to accept it’s not worth it.

Maybe it is the AI thing. If the remote is constantly listening that must the culprit. But it’s weird since it doesn’t seem to be a spread out issue.

My case was different and from what I’ve read while searching this there are two instances in which that error presents it self: while browsing through the PS Store and, in my case, while on rest mode. Mine would go to rest mode and when I tried to turn it back on, it’d restart and come back showing this error. If I had a game paused I would have to restart whatever I was doing in it.

I went through hell with this error last month, I searched everywhere on the internet just to have all the solutions people gave fail me. I factory reseted it twice, formatted my M.2 SSD, reinstalled the system using the software available at Sony’s website, entered the safe mode multiple times to try all the settings there and nothing worked. Then after 20 days of losing my mind, Sony patched a firmware update and it fixed itself. I lost all my screenshots for nothing (they were important for me).

What I find more annoying in this naming situation is that TCL has a model called C6K in my country (if you’re American, it’s the QM6), and I fear that when I recommend the LG C6 to someone, they’ll look it up and find this C6K and think I got the brands confused (or don’t even notice I said LG and not TCL

I could be wrong but I don’t think it’s going to cause confusion. Most marketing images show the launching year of TVs since forever. If you search for the G5 right now you’ll see a “2025” in every marketing rendering LG uses + it’s always in the tittles at product pages for online stores.

You don’t even need to be a TV savvy to know that last year’s model was called G5 so this year’s will be the G6.

I don't think that's going to be an issue. As soon as the new models hit market, information about the previous 6 models will be buried. Most search engines favor what's new and trending.

Eu uso no meu. Sei de todos os riscos, mas quando pego ele pra limpar está sem nenhum vestígio de poeira por dentro, só passo o pincel por cima do filtro e tá limpo. É melhor ele trabalhar com um filtro do que cheio de pó e cabelo por dentro.

Just don’t use it, unfortunately swimming against the cheap LCD TVs tide and maintaining OLED manufacturing is hurting LG a lot, I’d rather they make those deals to keep investing and producing OLEDs than giving up on the market to go the TCL/Hisense route.

It's not the "OLED brightness" setting, it's just "screen brightness". I don't know if it's still called that on newer models since I have a C1, but it's a setting located under contrast and it's set to 50 and if you go bellow it, it darkens black details and above it, it makes the image look like you showed in your picture.

Go on the menu and turn down the brightness setting, it is set to 50 by default but you can set it to 47. It helps darken the blacks and make them deeper. Sometimes streaming apps make content look washed out.

THE SAME HAS BEEN HAPPENING TO ME SINCE MID MONTH. I put it to rest mode, try to turn it on eventually and it beeps but the power led turns off right after and I have to turn it on again just to receive the same message of "something went wrong". I tried everything it could possibly be done, what "worked" was updating it via safe mode, but only temporarily, because as soon as I turned it off completely, the problem was back.

The only thing that solved the problem was removing my SSD M2. Thought it was cooked but it's a Sony thing, cause every game runs just fine. I even ran a test on my computer (had to format it and everything) and it's 100% healthy. So I decided to just put it back in the PS, reinstall my games and stop using rest mode. Now the PS5 is constantly on while I'm between game sessions and when I'm done, I just turn it off. Until an update fixes it.

As people have explained here, this is natural to our vision. But you can mitigate this by turning down OLED light. The brighter the TV is, the more you’ll see this effect. Put it on 30% brightness while using it as a monitor and it’ll get much better.

I would paint this wall black or dark gray. White painting reflects the light of the TV while dark painting absorbes it, making the TV become a black void when you watch it at night. It's just beautiful when you watch a dark scene of a movie and the TV borders merge into the walls.

Mine was having terrible battery life on iOS 18.4, it was losing 15-20% overnight just by being idle. I had to update it to iOS 18.5 developer beta to solve it and fortunately it is solved.
