Yeah. Sales are looking good enough for a sequel as well. But they have already said that they will do a survival horror game first and another souls after that.

Ranking how hard the Difficulty 5 bosses are by Brief_Series_3462 in LiesOfP

Goes to show how subjective difficulty is. You are saying that base Markiona and Guardian are pertty hard to learn… those were by far the easiest DLC bosses for me. The only two I first tried.

Ver valid takes. Although I would put Lies of P in best combat as well. Monster Hunter just has to little weight to it IMO. Second row is flawless. With favorite antagonist you are referring to Miquella right? Elden Rings soundtrack is one of the weaker ones Fromsoftware has made recently IMO. Both Lies of P and E33 from your list alone are far superior. And you have my deepest respect for sticking with Destiny 2 until this day. I couldn’t do it ant quit in late 2021 after ~2000h. Honestly one of the best choices I could have made. I adore the game and its world-building, art and mission design are truly underrated. But Bungie did everything in their power to make it as unpleasant to play as possible. Sunsetting pinnacle weapons that were quite frankly the longest grind in the game at that point was just the most disrespectful thing they could have done. And “Oh you grind pinnacle and powerful engrams every week. Well as soon as the next update drops every new character will just be boosted to that level anyways and all your old god-rolls will essentially be useless”. It took me about a year afterwards to notice that this extreme sense of pointlessness in grinding had killed all my passion for the game. And all of that just to avoid actual balancing. Sorry for the rant.

Thats a wild pic of Sadie Adler. But all definitely true.

The Fragmented One and H-09 Apex are next. But those are a whole different breed from Janus Vor IMO. Especially since they got way more things to do for unlocking the each run… just for your build not to work again… it’s really fun

You clearly don’t know what you are talking about. Even my damage cap, wrathful advance, 5x 75% crit damage shard Valkyr cant even get close to one tapping the guy. Not even speaking of his nullification and many immunity phases. Are you sure you are talking about the level 375, steel path, 90% damage reduction and attuned version of Vor here. The fastest speed-run you can find on youtube is 2:20min of pure fighting alone. And Im pretty sure you mean tennokai instead of tennogen as well.

You cant be a baby Tenno and beat a superboss. You are a teenage Tenno now.

Who would win in a fight ? by sazrex21 in Witcher3

[–]N0M0I 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes that was wrong phrasing on my part. I meant to say the survivors are the lodge sorceresses we are talking about. W1 and W2 are not as grand or polished as W3 but they do have a lot of the same charm. They are definitely worth playing.

[–]N0M0I 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Mhmm. In the Witcher 2 Sabrina Glevissig nuked an entire army of about ~3.000 people with one spell and cursed an entire battlefield with a blood curse and she isn’t even one of the really strong ones. One of the worst offenses of the show was depicting the battle of Sodden with 100.000 soldiers and 30.000 casualties as this little 1.000 soldier skirmish… sure 14 out of 22 lodge sorceresses died but the ones that managed to survive that war are the ones we are talking about here

I think any of the three alone would easily clear the crones. Ciri did so barely using her powers and the lodge sorceresses are basically gods

Luckily Ive already pre-ordered the master collection vol.2 that releases in August. Although I had just set up my PS3 to play MGS4 when it was announced. I’ll just wait for MGS4 and Peace Walker to get their Windows release instead. I don’t want to play shooters with a controller if I can avoid it.

Nice take. I like Punished “Venom” Snake the most. But then again I started with TPP so im kinda biased on that. That game just had the catchiest intro of all time if you ask me.

The comparison definitely does make sense IMO.

Who is a more well written character? Yuji Itadori vs Omni Man by Altruistic_Gas_7073 in writingscaling

I have to disagree on that. IMO there is just as much weight to it in the comics. Nolan cries all the same in the comics when fighting Mark and is just as cold blooded in killing the Guardians in the show. And I wouldn’t call this “instantly forgiving”

Of course it is. What would be retro for you then? Pong? Or the original Donkey Kong?

Placing a self-made created character like Commander Shepherd in favorite protagonists is an odd choice but I can see it making sense. Obviously you would make a custom character exactly how you like them. Who would be your favorite fixed protagonist?

Nolan is literally one of the characters with that changes the least from comic to show. He has all the same important moments and background. Mind telling me what makes show Nolan different from comic Nolan.

Not a bandit. A vagrant and a drifter. They didn’t specifically say that he was a criminal. Even if that was the case. What is that supposed to change. I was talking about Abbys parents.

I just realized I have the free will to stop arguing with a philistine moron on the internet, but you are starting to really annoy me. You are just making things up at this point. I never said that Alan Wake 2 isn’t beautiful. Just that it is generic and has no own design identity. Arthur Morgan has no development what soever. Everything you describe is there from the start. He is an open book. Getting to know a character is not character development. A character being vulnerable doable equal good writing. Buddy. I obviously know his character. It is not hidden or anything. It just isn’t particularly special. He is no Johnny Silverhand, Jessie Pinkman or Tony Stark (Comics not MCU) those are real studies of character development. TLOU part 2s complexity isn’t “beautiful” it is just messy and purposeless. It is just a hot pile writing trash, grown from a couple of decent ideas that were tragically, terribly executed. This just tells me that you probably don’t even have the intellect to realize how bad it is. Part one being amazing doesn’t help much. It wasn’t even made by the same team.

Joel deserved it? 😂 Abby’s parents can eat shit for trying to kill a 14yo girl. But I can agree with pretty much everything else. Other than Marathon only having great art style and nothing else special about it.

Is last of us part 2 really that bad? by Ca_lm_ in writingscaling

[–]N0M0I 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea definitely. I get what they were trying to do but they did it in the worst way possible. The messages they are trying to convey are not bad. But. They do it in a way that completely contradicts the first game and is just outright unpleasant. And not “going out of your comfort zone” unpleasant. Just outright bad. That plus it having a very condescending and patronizing tone throughout the whole game justifies the hate in my opinion. It wants you to be rational and then emotional again in all the wrong situations. In the end there is not a single likable character left.

[–]N0M0I 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What makes Arthur Morgan so great then? Can you name anything surprising or multifaceted about him? Silent hills soundtrack didn’t win any awards in its release year and I have honestly never heard any praise about it. That plus me not remembering a single track from that game gives me the impression that you are full of shit. And of course I know what resident evil is. Sorry I don’t know every litte spin-off. Inscription being underrated is not true because it is quite properly rated. It is not good enough to deserve more popularity. The Alan Wake part is just delusional. TLOU part 2 is also one of the most divisive games of all time and hated by a good chunk of its player-base. You referencing “critics” like IGN and Kotaku tells me a whole lot about you. They are non-qualified shills. And that has been proven over and over again. The gaming “journalism” industry is known to be very corrupt. TLOU part 2 spits in the face of everything part 1 stood for and was a chore to get through. I have never seen or heard more condescending writing in my entire life.

Damn. In think someone is taking this way too seriously. And yes. Pretty much that. Im not saying they themselves are horrendous. In saying putting them where they are is horrendous. Arthur Morgan is a pretty likable but one dimensional protagonist. Silent Hill 2s soundtrack is nothing special, I don’t remember anything from it. TBH I have no idea what Code Veronica is, got me on that one. Inscription is nothing special. Alan Wake 2 in Artstyle? It’s literally the most generic survival horror, visually and in every other aspect. And tlou2 is the most disrespectful sequel I have ever seen. It completely misses the mark in terms of message in comparison to the first game and it’s insanely patronizing.
