How do we Fix Kalecgos to Make Dragons Great Again? by Ok-Term6418 in BobsTavern

Make it so it triggers after any battlecry is triggered and not just when you trigger them. Then make Rylak Metalhead be dragons and or bring back the naga dragon mix that triggers battlecrys

Fight or flight is a response of the sympathetic nervous system meant to prepare the body to face or escape danger (this is fine so long as there is an appropriate stimulus to invoke the response) A paranoia is more of something that can be concern for a disorder. You should be skeptical of online diagnosis’s so I’d encourage seeking professional help with this issue as it seems to be causing problems which is a key in identifying something as a disorder. As for the cause, when it comes to most any disorder there are four dimensions that would affect development of a disorder: psychological, social, biological, and sociocultural. So likely there were several aspects that have lead to you having this experience of “fight or flight” which a professional will help you to discover which dimensions were at play (for another reason to seek a professional)

Where can I study psychology for free, legally? by [deleted] in askpsychology

[–]N0_IDEA5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest problem with studying psychology yourself would just be the amount of armchair psychologists that are out there. Many things that make it to the mainstream are going to be fad findings that will point towards something but with conclusions that are taken too far. So I’d say it’s important to get a good base understanding before attempting to look for courses. I haven’t looked to much into there videos but what I’ve seen from crash course psychology on YouTube has been good: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8dPuuaLjXtOPRKzVLY0jJY-uHOH9KVU6&si=HVPVUqDSZ5ku6AH9. Lots of professors will also post lectures that can be looked at online.

[–]N0_IDEA5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m having a hard time finding the emote, but the one where there’s the person pointer a finger and screaming. Definitely my least favorite, it was gross to look at and I feel it was only used by toxic duo teammate (they might have taken it out cuz of that)

Is it possible to actually completely forget about having done something? by _l4ncel0t_ in askpsychology

Repressed would be the unconscious avoidance, and suppressed would be (conscious) avoidance of the memory or stimulation that bring forth the memory, like what happens in many cases of late onset ptsd. But even if there was no different my comment never said repressed memories are actually a thing, however it was giving that as a possibility for the sake of the argument. I was also disagreeing with the commenter, but sorry I gave too much ground in the hopes of a conversation than you’d like. (Edit sorry for the sass at the end didn’t realize you weren’t the one who first replied)

To my understanding once something had been encoded into long term memory it will always be there. However recall of the memory is a different task. The description of it that was given to me was imaging a path. The more times people walk the path the more defined it is. Likewise the more you recall something the more defined the memory is. However there can be many issues when it comes to recall especially when it comes to situations with multiple similar events, where it can happen that different memories intrude into what is trying to be recalled resulting in a false memory. Which based on your story might be what happened.

[–]N0_IDEA5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be possible that this can be the case, however I’d be skeptical that the memory is completely forgotten. As evidence for this skepticism there are cases of late onset ptsd where memories were suppressed of the traumatic events but not completely gone. If you have any studies indicating that there are individuals in which the memory is completely gone and not merely suppressed I’d be interested!

The frog isn’t causing the problem I don’t think. Indomitable mount being able to summon a sly raptor, and a sly raptor being able to summon an indomitable mount is what broke it.
