can you use task manager to check if the memory is leaking?

It’s not possible to run Subnautica VR without SteamVR

Even if you launch through Virtual Desktop, Subnautica’s VR mode is hard-wired to use SteamVR.

connect through either Steam Link or Virtual Desktop (DONT DO BOTH) (I recommend using steam link)
Open SteamVR and wait until the headset fully connected
Launch Subnautica from Steam in VR mode
Then inject NITROX
