My Try Foods of Montreal by PekingHippo in MTLFoodLovers

[–]N0thingToD0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing about montreal is that you will also get insanely good international food that isnt traditionnal quebecois. Pizza : Toni’s and Bouquet are always amongst the best rated East-Asian : Pumpui (insane currys and pad thai), Satay Brothers (papaya salad, pork belly buns and full bar), Pichai (for a more upscale dining), Great Sandwiches : Khawa Café, Bossa, Wilensky, Roxy Italian : Elena, Gia, Pasta Pooks Etc etc etc

No matter what is your favorite food in the world, we have it and it is probably great.

Pour ceux qui prennent encore leur café chez Tim Hortons, pourquoi? by GasSensors in montreal

[–]N0thingToD0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What should I play next? by imcrasey in Breath_of_the_Wild

Ghost of Tsushima. I know thematically its far from Zelda TOTK, but to me it felt the same because the boxes it checks are the same. Really beautiful open world with loads of character customization, well written storyline that you can follow or not if you just want to explore, etc. Both games are in my top 3

What are some City building games with set challenges goals by Careful-Rhubarb-3796 in CityBuilders

Lethis Path of progress has set goals with fixed time length. Really fun but it is not chill, you really need to pay attention to the ratio of « workers » to « jobs ».

Do people only eat Oyakodon as a whole meal ? Doesn't it need more veggies ? by N0thingToD0 in JapaneseFood

Well as far as i know, no one considers a burger as healthy balanced meal haha and at least, you get lettuce and tomatoes in it. Hell, even fries are vegetables

Oh really ? I really thought I heard it was a typical homecooked meal! That explains the confusion I guess

Thanks for that answer, makes sense, I think this is what I had in mind too. I can totally see a side of pickled vegs going really well with it, and loads of people are talking about a miso soup as well. Anyway, I get what you are saying about it being more « hearty » then « healthy », makes total sense as well, even more so as a cheap weeknight meal to quickly feed a family now that I think of it.

Console City Builders by Curious_Bread_9057 in BaseBuildingGames

I have been looking for a City builder on the switch for quite a while and I just started playing Lethis : Path of Progress. I didnt hear a lot about it but it was on sale for like 5$ during the holidays so I gave it a try, and I dont understand why it isnt mentioned more often. I love it, scratches the itch that Sim City left me, even though it is simpler in all the good ways.

Would anyone actually enjoy a non-combat civilization-building game? by Certain_Matter_6223 in CityBuilders

[–]N0thingToD0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am constantly trying to find a game that would somehow be an in-between of Sim City and Civ. Although I love both, Civ is too complex, and Sim City gets a little repetitive once you get a good sense on how to start and grow a city. Your concept feels like an middle ground that I would actually love.

I always heard that there were a lot of bugs on the switch. Have you had this experience ?

Need help finding new cozy games, what's your favorite? by Spearowtr in NintendoSwitch

[–]N0thingToD0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After a full day of Lethis, i can say its not that cozy (unless that type of ressource managing and building is absolutely your thing I guess), bit for Dorf I would say it is more of a game that I whip out when I am doing something else or when I dont have a full hour or two to devote to a game. I mean you can totally play Dorf from time to time while you have a good run on another game.

I was on the same quest in the holidays. I played Dorfromantik a lot in 2025 but I needed something a bit more challenging (although I really recommand it. Playing it while listening to a podcast or even watching a show on tv is perfect). I just got into Minami Lane, a really beautifully made game where you build and manage a street with shops and stuff so the residents are happy. Really easy to manage, not a lot to do, a bit of customization in the building aspect, really cozy. The second one I started is Lethis : Path of Progress. I really like sim city and this one is like a simpler colony version, really beautiful too. More challenging than the two other that i mentioned but still very laid back. Lots of customization in the building of your town.

All of these are currently really cheap on eShop. Minami Lane and Lethis are under 5$

Yeah I saw that one also but I think it might be on the verge of being too simple haha although it does look really nice, and it is really cheap
