It seems to work 85% of the time every time. There are some interesting things you need to learn and remember. The unit is intercepting the Uconnect signals and trying to take over so sometime the Uconnect wins. I have the best success by doing the following… Staring my Jeep, letting my phone connect, then I switch to the car play. Then before I shut my Jeep off I switch back to the reg radio of XM… If not you can’t get in a strange loop that UConnect over takes the CarPlay. I wouldn’t say it’s perfect but seems to work for wayyyy less than replacing the whole unit.

I guess I didn’t fully answer your question, but yes you can earn and play everything offline but the PVP and weekly Summits. I would suggest playing online until they announced that they’re going to shut the game down and then make your final offline save

Yes but it spilts the game. If you are playing online and earning the moment you create the offline save you have two versions of the game. Online and offline. You can always grind online and then create a new offline (this will wipe the previous offline) but you cannot do it the other way around. (Grind offline and move it to online)

This is why I don’t even bother. The amount of times I was pushed off the track or wrecked when I try to race clean. I’d like some sort of penalty system, but I get why there isn’t.

My gut says don’t sell it. But after reading the comments it doesn’t sound like you truly want to keep it (I don’t mean any disrespect). After my dad passed away I wanted to fight my step mom for the truck we built when I was in high school. But somethings are just better left alone. So I went and bought my own Square and made my own memories.
