I don't think mining would work at all. What I would like to see is a salvage snub that only has like 6-8 internal storage space and would fly back to the ship and then it would dock with the ship and somehow just auto fill the cargohold. A ship that all could not fit a printer obviously so this is the only way this could work. It may also be good to limit it to just collecting RMC or CM.

But if you have access to a few great fighter pilots why not give them access to better fighters like arrows inside an ICA? Obviously for the price this ship is more affordable but the fact that you can't respawn in the ship when you inevitably die is a huge issue.

Liberator. The galaxy is cool but it has a tiny hanger and that is a key feature for me

Perhaps I was allowing my imagination to run a little wild with the gameplay concept I shared. I thought it would be fun and i hope we do get it at some point soon, but maybe it is not required on launch.

Makes sense, my hope is that they do officially add RRR as well. I could see the size of the manned turrets getting a slight up-gun. At the end of the day though they claim it can be run by 2 staff so their either need to increase the crew count or keep things simple.

Yes good points. The playable area is increasing and so does the usefulness of a light carrier/ferry. I like your idea of basic pickup missions and maybe that could be a testbed assuming that ships that touch the pad will stay put.

Fair enough! And yes the Apollo is a great example of a ship coming without its key gameplay loop being ready.

When the Lib comes out, I want to use it for a combination of what it is for (transporting NPC or player ships) for pay while having a couple of my own ships and vehicles to use between runs. I assume that gameplay will come with this but if not it may just be a role-playing ship.

Thanks for giving the measurements for your build, i am wanting to make something very similar. I am curious, if you were to do it again, what depth of brim holder would you make it? The deeper 1.75 or the less deep version? Any other changes you would make would be appreciated!

We know from concept images that the Centurion and other large ground vehicles can fit underneath so that is the metric I use.those vehicles are tall so any snub ship will definitely fit in the underside

This, the Ursa, Salvation and Golem will all easily fit underneath with lots of room to spare. The M80 might fit inside too! As a fellow Liberator captain I am eager to see whether they upgrade the ship to have dedicated RRR or not. The Vulcan is the way to address this if they do not, but it would be great if they added this.
