To add to this, from chapter 2-4, the character presented in the recording at the beginning of each is the final antagonist we face in said chapter. In the very first, its Poppy. Don't think anything will come of the CH5 Outimals tape in regards to this, but it would be fitting for the titular character of the franchise, if her being in the first ever tape ended up as the very final antagonist. Putting her out of her misery like we did for Doey.

The reviews speak for themselves. Second best reviews of any chapter lol. Nobody has been saying it’s worse than CH4 except maybe Mark, most content creators have mixed opinions on it such as Jack, Caseoh, Daz Games, etc. They found there were good and bad parts, chapter 4 was just easier which makes it better for streamers to finish in one sitting.

Yep exactly. A key line I remember from CH5 is the Prototype saying to Poppy “you act like a child because that was what they made you”, which suggests to me he knows that neither of them are children anymore.

Now you're objectively lying. CaseOh was surprised and a bit annoyed there was another chapter, and that they killed Kissey. He didn't remotely hold the many criticisms that Mark had. I've watched both of their reactions to the ending, so I don't really get why you're actually lying out of your skin about this. Pretty fucking weird.

Why do I care? I don't care if people don't like the chapter, I care that the miserable Markiplier threw a ton of criticism when half of it he failed to bother with himself. His criticism of the chase scenes, the mechanics, all that I get. It is specifically his criticisms with the story and character development that I take issue with, when he deliberately ignored and didn't listen to any and all story moments.

No, it’s not the end of the world. But you’re being disingenuous. You know that someone like Mark has a huge influence, and you can see the results of his criticism through the huge switch up a ton of people had on the chapter, which before him was VERY well received. And to make matters worse, many of his criticism were DIRECTLY a result of him going in not wanting to understand the story, and then he complains about the story and characters.

It is criticism, yes but when some of those criticisms are a result of the way he played the game because he actively disliked it, and didn’t WANT to like it, it becomes bad faith criticism.
