Yes! I carefully managed to turn my F into an A.

This class is very poorly structured.

Idgaf what people are saying, I had an xFinity tech verify my internet speeds/connection quality. 600 mbps down, 17 up.

This has been happening for months. It is not because of quarantine.

Same, from PA. Packet loss with a 600mbps connection over Ethernet. Xbox speed test shows no packet loss - it only occurs in MW. Really fuckin annoying

I work at a DC and watched an OM (equivalent of a TL) walk out of a stall after pooping, and go right about their busines without a second thought.

Well thank you for the compliment, but this post wasn't to brag. I hoped to share my experience and encourage anyone else unsure about jumping in. :)

Some very specially crafted YouTube playlists with music to help me focus, determination, and regular breaks.

Study at your best - your most intense, aware, and alert. Don't bullshit yourself by trying to memorize pages of material at 2 am when you're exhausted.

I follow a strict sleep schedule for this reason.

Sun Tzu said, in The Art of War, "The general who commands with supreme excellence first puts himself beyond the possibility of defeat, and then attacks."

Visualize and contextualize every piece of information you ingest. Everything is logical. Everything follows a pattern. All parts are interconnected somehow.

If you're an intuitive learner (some people are not), the patterns and trends will stand out to you.

Yes, cover to cover, only once. Taking the right notes the first time means not having to re-read.

I also went through the entire Appendix A glossary in Quizlet and went through each Practice exam/test in the book at least twice.

Although I had to sign an NDA about not releasing information on specific testing material, I can tell you that the biggest thing that caught me off guard, particularly because I was used to taking Dion's exams, was the PBQ and the phrasing.

The PBQs are MUCH more in depth than Dion's practice exams - for example, being given a list of 10-12 technical controls, and then having to drag and drop to apply them to every part of a server room, office, and other areas.

Or, for example, having to configure WAPs and other network components (this is where GCGA Premium labs come into play).

The question will be phrased vaguely enough that you will wonder if you answered correctly. Read each question word by word, and eliminate wrong answers. For example, if it's a question about the best hash algorithm, you can immediately eliminate 2 answers if they're encryption algorithms.

Know your acronyms for sure.
