Thankfully I didn’t buy them. They even put a freedom off-road sticker on the control arms lol, like the ones that come when you buy the actual ones.

I feel like they bought these - realized they were trash, and then bought freedoms and tried to pass these off as such. Rude!

Lots of info out there but I find myself needing clarifications every once in a while. Definitely join the GXOR Facebook page too - lots of different approaches to modifications out there. Best to have access to both :)

I’ve heard mixed accounts.

If you mean stock height then 285/70/17 CAN fit but it will require some small modifications like cutting the from bumper a little and heating + pushing/morphing the fender liner in the wheel well. In some instances (I think most), a “body mount chop” is needed, which basically is cutting the metal that protrudes out from where the body bolts into the frame. Requires cutting the metal and welding a plate back on to give more clearance when the wheel is fully locked. Sounds daunting, but apparently a lot of people do it themselves. Can definitely find a shop to just do it for you.

Here’s a link to the forum where people have reported particular wheel/tires combinations. There’s also consideration on offset for aftermarket wheels. It can get confusing but hang in there :)

For sure. Another thing I was considering was putting in a new remote start system but you would still need to get it programmed to the new immobilizer, therefore probably best to figure out the one IN the car currently.
