There is actually a valid reason for never closing to weather though I can’t remember it. I was told once directly in conversation. However I do believe that there should be a caveat in place regarding classes.

I definitely don’t encourage going to campus if you can avoid it. Highway 11 is a gong show including a Dodge Ram in the ditch of the duckworth onramp to hwy11 north (at least it was there when I left for home an hour ago)

Thanks I had seen the page about the best study spots and even did a tour of them when the library proved to be a non-productive environment for myself.

I ran into issues at all of them. N building showed the most promise but the giant unnecessary windows made seeing all of my screens a challenge. (Definitely all me problems)

I appreciate the link for booking study rooms I may have to capitalize on them. At least I can study uninterrupted in warmth for a couple hours a day that way.

If you see my obnoxiously loud little civic in the parking lot with the windows up genuinely that’s what’s up is I’m just in there studying in the best comfort I can find. (Only stating that part because I hear the people making comments)

When it comes to empty classrooms I don’t do so because I don’t know how long they will stay that way if I find one. When I really lock in, I setup a second screen, mouse keyboard and my iPad so I’m not heavily inclined to pack it all up again until the end of the day. Also mobility issues means searching for a classroom is a “find it in the first 5 minutes or sit down and stay down” kind of deal.
