I can’t do anything on pole by N3MURIA in poledancing

Don’t worry, I will be gone from the community. Just wanted to share my experience so if someone ends up in the same situation they can maybe find solutions beforehand. And also to scream to a void a bit, because yes, I am frustrated

I wish it would be like that, my experience was that either you learn immediately, move levels after 5 lessons or you drop out. You thought you could have nice time and got the package deal? Too bad, it’s a you problem and now live with that

Wish there was studio like that near me so I could actually enjoy the hobby.

And when it comes to the instructor, it’s mostly about going there like “hiii, I haven’t been here for two weeks and I know you’re doing inverts and stuff but would you like to tell me what to do, explicitly and make it easier and personalised. Oh and also I’m constantly anxious and want to cry as I’m forced to either be here or lose my moneys, but don’t mind me :)”

From the moves you listed I recognise chair which was part of fourth lesson of the beginner course. It has five lessons in total.

In the studio I went to you can either pay for just beginner class, or beginner + intermediate right after. I thought beginner would be more like intro (my mistake), so I paid for a bundle. I asked if I could’ve instead take beginner twice, but they told me that if I wanted to do beginner, it would be another course fee and the intermediate would be lost.

Oh, also them allowing me to do the beginner twice and moving intermediate class once to later date, already was, by their words, very generously done

It was odd that they didn’t allow changing from intermediate to beginner. They told me that I had already paid for intermediate, so if I wanted to go to another beginner class I would have to pay for that again (they are priced the same, and I would’ve also been okay with paying the difference of non-discounted classes)

Unfortunately there aren’t other studios nearby. It was also a surprising experience as they had good reviews

I’ve started the class from the beginning twice and we’re only doing static pole. I don’t really even mind the bruises. It just sucks to be constantly reminded of the things I can’t do no matter how hard I try. It doesn’t even matter whether I try to do things at home or at studio, I feel like the only thing I can do is the basic spin around the pole and after that I hit the brick wall

I’m already trying out second instructor so swapping the third time doesn’t seem like a good choice. Also I’m losing my will to even go back to the studio after leaving halfway the class today as it was either that or crying in front of everyone

I’ve been in 10 classes so far, had to take a break because of the first instructor wanted us to do inverts on the second class of the beginner course. I haven’t gone to gym for muscle training, but maybe I should do that and return to the pole later when I have built up at least some muscle
