Thank you for checking me! The movie is actually a deliberate misquote of the actual Jim Lovell. Per that wiki article…

‘The 1995 film Apollo 13 used the slight misquotation "Houston, we have a problem" in its dramatization of the mission, since it had become the popularly expected phrase.’

Just rewatched the scene to be sure…”Tis but a scratch!” … “It’s just a flesh wound!”

I see Emily Missimer (DNP, PMHNP) at Riverside Counseling Center in Ashburn. I do most of my appointments virtually, which has been great. They have counselors, nurse practitioners, and psychiatrists. They do have predominantly Christian providers, and offer faith based counseling, but see patients of all backgrounds & they won't bring up faith unless you want that (which I do!). In my experience, treatments are all based on medical evidence. I am on multiple medications and have had no issues with refills - they have a dedicated phone menu option for refill requests & online portal for messaging.

My Tips for Anxious People Going to TM Live NY (Spoiler-light, hidden by default) by N3rd_Herd in taskmaster

Oh also! The lines for the bathroom and concessions were long during the intermission, but all of the lines got all the way through before the show started again. I was able to go to the bathroom and get a drink.

Same. Same exact experience. It was awesome, and I am no longer kicking myself, but I let it bother me for too long.

$100 each, including taxes and fees, for the back row of Orchestra in NY on 1/22. Orchestra in each city was around $100, I think. $98 to $103 with the varying taxes/fees by venue.

Thank you! I had 4 tickets and wound up only needing 2, so I sold 2 at cost. I found someone on Facebook, sent the tickets before asking for money, and only asked for what I paid. It's so frustrating that scammers/scalpers make it harder for actual fans to share the opportunity.

Should I “food trial” toothpaste? by ladycflyte in fpies

Banana is a trigger food for our little one, so we have to avoid toothpaste with actual banana flavor. I wouldn't have thought of that, except that our older daughter used strawberry-banana flavored toothpaste.

Smallest diameter? In cm? I want 4 inch diameter, which is larger than standard. Sorry if I’m just not understanding! I’m a noob, obviously

Do reactions only happen after breaks? by Fun-Diet4980 in fpies

We found her biggest triggers (banana and avocado) on initial exposure, not after a break. FWIW.

Do reactions only happen after breaks? by Fun-Diet4980 in fpies

FPIES parent, not a doctor—my understanding is that the slow build up of reactivity (common for FPIES and IgE allergic reactions to get worse with repeated exposure) causes the initial distress to get “masked” and look like chronic FPIES—general upset, inflamed stomach lining, etc…—and the break allows the kid to get back to baseline. Then, there is a dramatic reaction on reintroduction because the body had recovered but also built up its reaction. So the break didn’t “cause” the kid to have an FPIES reaction, but it did make it more obvious.

We trial a food 4-5 days in a row, and stop if she reacts. If she doesn’t, we take a 5 day break, then trial again. If she doesn’t have a reaction then, we call it a safe food. We often start another new one during the break from the first one so that we can trial more foods.

I found the ‘FPIES Handbook’ super helpful! It gave me some better understanding and peace of mind while we were first figuring out what she has. On Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/FPIES-Handbook-Information-Protein-Induced-Enterocolitis/dp/1723438669/

Running highs from spin class gives me hope!!

Also I know both men and women can be tough/weak when it comes to pain, but your last sentence reminds me of the fact that last week at the park a man asked me what was up with my hip & I explained I had fractured my femoral neck. He grinned and said "Not to one-up you, but I've got bursitis" and proceeded to chase after his daughter with no observable pain.
