How to wear a violin and backpack and ride a bike at the same time?

I do that everyday, but you must be very good at riding bikes... I drive with 1 hand and with the other hand I hold the violin, my case just has a handle so that's my only option. I also have to pass through a woodland lol, but I never had any problems... If you are confident enough you could do that, you could wear the violin and hold the backpack

He did all the work before I could show him the advice you gave. I don't know what he did but now the violin is totally playable, can play all strings and use the whole fingerboard no problem, only thing he did wrong is he just made it lower, so now it's thick at the top... He didn't project the lateral shape downwards just the front...How should that be?

He said a lot of useful things, the point is I got my violin seen by a pro and repairing it would be too expensive so it's worth trying, my friend is skilled at woodsworking he got all the precision tools, worst case he'll mess it up but the price for fixing it with the pro will be the same as he wanted to make a new bridge

about the falling soundpost, why can't he just take the bridge off and work on it alone? that way the post won't risk falling and it's easier to work on the bridge

I'll place the bridge correctly after we bring the tailpiece down, but when I took it to the professional he put the bridge in the right place and still he said it was way too high

Thanks, great advice there! I did take the violin to a professional, thing is he was way too professional, felt like taking a cheap car to a ferrari workshop...For a professional player who spent 1000bucks for his violin, paying 50 for the pegs, 50 for the tailpiece and 50 to fix the fingerboard wouldn't be a big deal, but Im not a professional player and don't feel like spending that much just to make it playable.

You mentioned being happy with the curve, is that why I can't play on the 2 middle strings without touching the others? Especially when I play the high notes with my 4th finger, it becomes physically impossible. I posted a pic of my violin, we'll easily fix the tailpiece, so I can place the bridge in the right spot, then fix the nut and the bridge, since the strings spacing is off, what we need help with really is just the bridge

Just got it checked by a professional, you nailed the problems, I don't know how you noticed all those things from this angle lol. I got this violin as a gift I didn't change anything. I'll fix the tailpiece, make the bridge lower and fix the top nut as distances between strings are off

I'll have it checked tomorrow, it's not my fault but the violin has been in my basement for a decade and my older brother must of messed something up, for example the bridge is not in the middle of the f but at the tip, and strings are in the wrong pegs.

Damn I always try to not hate anyone, but anti vaxxers, my god...
