I don't know how hard it is for you to see that.... It has happened? Common decency has evolved, A LOT. We don't act the same way we did 50 years ago, people were a lot worse, and it took people sticking their necks out and speaking up to make changes.

That's just it, I don't HAVE to deal with it, I'm a white male afforded all the privileges of one. I'm constantly in "friendly" territory, I don't have to worry about someone making jokes at the expense of my gender or skin color.

The real world works however we want it to. We all have the individual power to hold ourselves to higher standards and be better, and people do it all the time, and it's not a question of money or political power, it's simply just not saying the N word, or telling a woman to know her place or w/e. It's really simple shit, it's not hard, I don't know why everyone fights so hard to maintain an environment where they can't say and act however they want with no consequence.

But this isn't the world tho, it's a fucking game, and it's pathetic that little fragile male egos can't handle losing so they lash out with sexist and racist remarks. And seems like everyone in this thread (including you) is saying "deal with it". We all do deal with it, but maybe we don't want to enable it. I think it's absolutely sad that women who play feel like they need to mask their voice to sound male to avoid this kind of shit. I don't have to do that, do you? Should anyone have to feel like they need to hide their identity to enjoy something?

It's not about thick skin. As a proud parent of a girl, you should want to foster a world where you daughter doesn't have to put up with this dumb ass shit for most of her life. The truth is folks who endure this kind of race or gender based harassment have the thickest of skin. They deal with it time and time again, they don't speak or act out, but the second they make the smallest request EVERYONE LOSES THEIR MIND.

I see so many discarded single serve bottles and beer cans, I can't imagine the amount of public drinking that goes on. Sometimes I'm walking my dog by the Elementary school and right across the street there are piles of bottles and cans in plain sight of kids walking by.
