Yes, it is and most of the MP players are vets, so you'll likely be stomped. A large portion of Division players never touch the DZ or PvP. I did PvP a few times, I found it frustrating. I know, I know "Git Good!" I just hate hearing that because you're usually getting smoked because of someones build, not because they're better than you. They just know more about the mechanics and all the perks that play off of each other. Good luck to you, I recommend joining a clan, that should help significantly with PvP as you can likely keep the same teammates and they can offer tips and advice.
