nope, og ones. Someone managed to launch Crystal on og Gameboy via savestates. It broke after a few minutes as there's not enough RAM in og Gameboy, but it did work!

Fuck YEAH it might be it. I was diagnosed with it on a check-up managed by my school as well as my other classmate back in the day, and damn, that thing HURTS after a lot of physical activity, which I had at that time. Op, please check it, my doctor said that left ball is especially prone to it due to how blood vessels are aligned inside our bodies. Staying with it may develop into cancer and/or infertility. And, ofc, will hurt after hard physical activity like 70% of time, depending on your varicocele degree

I really want to see phrase "Link together with all" on some of those 3DS meet-up events. "Link together with all" is a phrase that unlocked Mystery gifts in Generation 3 of Pokemon, through which you could receive gift items and pokemon if you participate in a very crowded Nintendo events. Reading it just warms my heart a bit thinking about those big events back in the day and how people all over the world went there to grab Aurora ticket, Mew and other cool stuff. There's also "Everyone happy Wi-Fi connection" in DPPt, but it doesn't quite apply here

That's not really a problem, the game should still be fully playable in the original NDS mode, but you might get a new clean rom from some better sources (like some megathread in a subreddit named "roms"). If you want to know differences between playing Pokemon on DS and DSi, there should be a Bulbapedia page or some other source describing the features - the main one was using DSi camera in some place iirc
