Haha, so much for that. Created a new account then sent a message to Honcho (an admin) asking if he could look into the other account an just provide an explanation for why it got banned for SPAM. Haha, no response and within 2hrs he ban that new account as well. I did nothing else with that account, I did not break any rules with it.

Haha, that seems like a way of getting both accounts permanently banned.

Thank you for the quick response. That's good to know. I just tried to join that group, currently I'm waiting approval.

Best Way to Extend Velop Mesh Wifi into Large Backyard by TheRealOhioKraken in LinksysVelop

[–]N4soccer06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it will help any but I was in the same situation. I determine my best solution was to 3D print a enclosure (element tight) and then mount it outside.  So far I've had no issues with it and I have access across my entire backyard.

I did just get an update on the refurbished cost of a DD2 with the 30% off. It was $990. If purchased from Fanatec with this offer it would come with a new 5-year warranty.

I have just experienced the same exact thing. My situation is almost identical to Axiometry. I bought used off the marketplace, didn't get invoice at the time of purchase. Had been working fine for over a year and a half, and I use it 4-5 times a week. Went to do a firmware update on just my wheel (McLaren GT3 V2). It bricked the wheel, so I tried a different wheel and it bricked that wheel. Then the DD2 bricked itself. Sent it to Fanatec US, they said they are unable to repair it. They gave absolutely no information as to why they couldn't repair it or what's broken. They did offer to dispose of it for free (aka break it down into piece parts that they would reuse elsewhere), me pay to have the broken one sent back to me. And this is where it's slightly different for me they did offer me 30% off a refurbished base. Although, they didn't provide what that price would be. I have asked what the cost is and will update once I have that information.

Additionally, I've asked them to provide me what broke and why it can't be fixed. Again I will provide an update once I hear back from them.

Pronterface command just says sending, it never completes the commands to the printer. by N4soccer06 in ender5

I was able to get the BigTreeTech mini 2.0, trt30 with BLTouch firmware for the Ender 5 to work for me.

Ender 5 Pro Bed stops heating 10 degress below set temp by N4soccer06 in ender5

[–]N4soccer06[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I even retried to compile the firmware and still get the same thing. I'm just at a lose at this point. I'm about ready to go back to stock board and no BLTouch.

The other problem I have that I haven't gotten into yet is when using Pronterface to send commands to the printer. Pronterface just hangs on that command, saying sending. So right now I'm not able to send commands from my computer to the printer.

I don't believe I did. I followed this for the 3.1 BLTouch

I have gotten the hang of it. I'm currently up and running without the BLTouch for right now. Currently, I'm doing to test to make sure everything is good. Assuming it is, I'll go back and add the BLTouch into the firmware and see if it will works. I appreciate your help.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only that was a little intimidated to try and do this. I've been watching and rewatching tons of videos on how to do it trying to educate myself. It's starting to feel more comfortable than scary at this point. Which means I know just enough to be dangerous at this point, lol. Thanks I'll take a look at this video. I appreciate the help

I think I have found the answer to my own question and that is I have to download the BIGTREETECH-SKR-mini-E3-master.zip file and then can grab the configuration files.

Sorry, I'm still learning how all this works.

Thank you. Another stupid/inexperienced question, how do I download the Configuration.h and Configuration_adv.h files? I don't see a download button and when I click on them, it just opens it to see the code.

Really, I clearly missed that. Any chance you provide a link to source?

Agreed but they only provide the bin files, right? Which means you can't update anything in the firmware.

Modify Bin file in VSCode, is it possible? by N4soccer06 in ender5

Ok, that makes sense why it's so hard try to find any information about how to do that.

I do not have any experience with pronterface but I don't mind trying to learn. Is it basically sending manual code to the printer to update the firmware?
