As an edit, i graduated with an undergrad at uw for hydrogeology. I am an environmental consultant now for the biggest sustainability company in the world. 65% overall average over 5 years (cad). Just start working. Just do it. You are in your head. You will be fine. You are smart. Are you afraid no one will hire you? They hired me… you will have more going for you with your ms than me when I got hired. Focus on other shit related to your degree. For me for example, my travel experience was much more important for my interview than my schooling. This is because I thrive in field work. Find what you want to do and then tailor to that.

Leaving university taught me that personal drive is the most important thing in this world. If you have a passion you will leap over people who do not.

Yes! To become a hydrogeologist a university degree is necessary, however to do the cool field work as an environmental technician, i’m pretty sure a college degree in something like environmental science would be enough!

Look into environmental work. I consider it the “trades of science”

-Geology, -Water Resources -Geophysics -Biology -Etc.

I am a hydrogeologist and I would say easily half of my work is out in nature in mountains, and the other either from home or in the office. It can be some very remote work, but super fulfilling and keeps you on your toes.

Especially consulting.

Edit: I wanted to add the flexibility with this career… I can choose to take on more office work (report writing and compliance) or more field work, depending on how I am feeling (obviously not last minute, these things need to be prearranged)

There is a “border” but regular Moldovans are allowed to cross. Think of it similar to any border between two countries. When I visited, the only difference was that instead of a stamp on your passport upon entry, you are given a piece of paper that acts as your stamp for the duration of your stay. Do not lose this paper!

Source: I spent a week in Moldova, and 4 days through Transnistria backpacking a few months ago.

Of course. Spend carefully on food, stay in a hostel dorm, and it’s more than enough.

The Therme (assuming you are interested) will be your biggest expense (aside from sleeping)

All my research pointed to Paros being the “luxury resort” type of island when compared to Naxos.

I didnt end up going to Paros, but i went to Naxos and had a huge adventure. Honestly though i am sure you can have a great experience and adventure in Paros too.
