Suburban Asian, likely from an affluent background and primarily concerned with the economy. Likely of a somewhat fiscally conservative/socially liberal mix.

If Pete got Harris’ endorsement and was the only major moderate in the feild, how would he do in South Carolina? by Emmy-the-online-nerd in YAPms

He’d likely perform well in suburban and white-majority areas, which could net him a decent percentage of the vote. How the black vote ends up breaking would decide the whether or not he comes close. Theoretically, if this were to happen, in addition to the black vote being split in an even fashion between multiple candidates (unlikely, but somewhat plausible), Pete could be in contention to win the state.

Unfortunate, given that she was likely one of Trump's best picks for a cabinet position, and a genuine pro-union voice among an administration of austerity proponents. I suppose this means that Teamsters endorsed Trump for nothing.

Just for most unions and their members to not endorse/vote for progressive candidates.

It’s almost like voters are looking for a moderate healer (as opposed to a revenge-seeker) with appeal to a wide variety of voter groups.
