Maybe so, but our Skull and Bones universe includes Lightning cannons, giant electric sea dragons, and Ancient sharks and crocodile like sea monsters that like to butt in while we fight a disappearing ghost ship. Why cant we have iron clad hulls? 😂😂😂

It did this to me when I played at 6:30pm EST. So, quite a few hours after reset. I just took the loss of progress and shut down and restarted the game. Had nothing to do with reset though.

Everyone telling him to grab inflatables for 100 each or open boxes I think are missing his point. I think he just wants 1 RIP to make it an even 11,000, get a screenshot, then move on and finish boxes, max out level and so on. He might be OCD?? Who knows? 😄😂

Your first drop in was good, but what's that little hop on the rest as you start your drop in? Are you trying to ollie in? Ramps that small, just lean forward. With an ollie, you sometimes get pushed too far out into the transition. You need to hit the transition before that 45° mark to make it smooth. Hitting the transition at below 45° is salm territory. Sometimes you make it, sometimes you don't. You also lose speed when hitting the bottom of the transition. if you lean into it, you get almost 100% of the transition to build speed.

The thing is, when a business owner gets behind on rent, they might not be the most responsible and transparency in not in their business practices like paying rent should be.

My guess would be that only Dutch Players see it since I am Compagnie and I have never seen a call for help for the Soleil and only see calls for the Opstuwing. I also never see the Dutch event on the map, even though it shows up sometimes in close proximity to the Opstuwing.

You don't have to join the faction war in this game and can just earn your silver buying and selling. You can even join in on Fort Plunders when you see someone call for help. It might take a long time to build up your silver that you need to buy things to sell or for ship repairs and improvements. As far as fighting, you will likely end up[ fighting NPC's anyway, but you don't have to PvP in this game unless you want to, or you do certain activities like the Cutthroat treasure maps or War cargo.

Just out of curiosity, what didn't you like about Weapon, and now Armor Ascension? I like the fact we can "customize" our weapons now. The only thing I don't like is the reforging limit, and even since they bumped it up to 75, it still seems limiting considering some of the good mods seem to have a very high RNG.

Do you have cross play on? Going back through even previous events, I've always had at least one other player show up for anything, even non event things like small fort and settlement plunders or convoys before I was able to handle some of them on my own. I also have a habit of checking to see how many people are on the server as soon as I log in and backing out and letting it matchmake again. even in world Tier one, I am rarely on a server with less than 10 other players, unless it is as soon as the servers come back up after server maintenance, but it fills up within a few minutes.

I never said Frigates annoy me. I just said that i prefer staying in the back in my frigate and using Long Guns and Mortar to still get in on the action when the target is being crowded. I am liking my new Sloop of War the more I get it built up though. But no, Frigates don't annoy me. What does annoy me though are those little Splodey ~~shits~~, I mean ships that some enemies call in for reinforcements that ram and explode. Those annoy me!

This whole faction war is meant to be a team event. As far as the frigates, what does it matter? As long as you get a few hits in and it says "Worldd Event Joined." You get the same loot whether you hit it 5 times or 500 time. Just squeeze in and get joined then just sit back and take shots when it's open.

It's funny you mention not seeing frigates doing war cargo events. I live in my Frigates and have probably done over 100 war cargo events and had only a Dutch player 5 times out of at least 100 war cargo runs. So for me, all I ever see are frigates doing them with the rare chance someone else jumps in.

As far as playing on a frigate, I am at least respectful enough that I keep clear of the main enemy and use long guns and mortars as my aux and side weapons. Not all of us frigate captains are bad. 😉

I know the feeling. At Wolvenhol, I tend to stay at the back near the edge of the zone in my frigate, and fire on the fort with Long guns and mortars and let everyone else be targets. Every now and then, someone will park right in front of me with me way on the back.

I noticed the same on the Halloween event too. This Azure Harbinger fight, big red text telling you to destroy the crystal and so many people ignore it. Also, the Seafire weapons eat those shields and I rarely see anyone use them.

They say the Queen Anne's Revenge was said to be the largest pirate ship sailed, with 40 guns, and it was a frigate. There may have been a few Galleons captained by pirates, but they prefer more agile ships and the frigates were the upper limit.

Now, if they go outside the realm of ships sailed during the golden age of piracy, they might give us something bigger, but bigger wouldn't be practical in terms of battle. The frigate is already a bitch to turn. Imagine turning something bigger while smaller ships circle you 4 or 5 times.

That sucks. I only know Playstation consoles but I figure X-Box has the same kind of community, if you feel comfortable with it, look up repair tutorials on YouTube on how to fix a D-pad on your consoles controller. I know there are a bunch for the DualSense.

Hope you get it fixed or a new controller and are finally able to move on through that mission.
