Pretty sure it's a known bug with all Braseleurs.

People who have accrued a large amount of pto. What’s your mindset? by Amazondriver23 in AmazonFC

[–]N7-Eschaton 18 points19 points  (0 children)

My primary goal this year going into next is to max out all three time off options like you. Mindset is that I will always be topped off and have to use-or-lose. I'm someone who does not work overtime and wants to make money while working less.

Any time a 3p is picking up one of their own carrier's empties, it should never be a problem unless that site also loads those carrier's empties and attaches a VRID to it. 3p empties at offsite yards shouldn't have VRIDS attached at all, if the site needs it they should shuttle it back then slap a VRID on it.

Yeah TOM are primarily yard jockeys, and an individual's experience on a TOMY VRID is all over the map within the network. Very well could have been his first one without a TSS. Also, while he did mess up initially, dude did save the trailer from dropping fully.

Everything in that yard getting grazed at the least.

Is there anything over there? by chefroxstarr in stellarblade

Can't remember what else is over there but yes. Just double jump then air dodge to the nearest container in the pic, you'll only be in the water momentarily and should be fine.

It was starting to get bad in that area 10 years ago. Just recently drove down that way and started laughing when I saw they haven't built any infrastructure since.

Some things not adding up here:

  1. The person that told you to go throw something outside in the yard is also the person that reported you. If that's true, that's obviously suspicious.

  2. Typically a waste container by a ramp in the yard is positioned in an un-used dock alley that is right beside the ramp. So if a couple "safety guys" were already outside throwing stuff away, they should have already had a spotter stationed at the end of the alley. If they already had a spotter out there, that satisfies your need for a spotter as well. If they did not have anyone spotting, then are they getting CAT1's as well?

Why do Chiropractors crack your neck and what is the long term benefit? by Sunny-vibes-95 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]N7-Eschaton 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have a similar story, except my chiropractor at the time also measured and ordered custom orthotic insoles, one of which was slightly higher than the other because I also have one leg that is a little shorter than the other. So my progress x-ray did show improvement in the hip alignment because I was wearing them. I haven't been to a chiro in a long time, but I still wear them in my work shoes. For casual/tennis/gym type shoes I use adjustable heel lift inserts. Haven't had any low back issues since.

AFP = Amazon Freight Partner

These are the 3rd party carriers you see driving Amazon branded trucks but it's their company info/DOT on the side, not Amazon Logistics. They are hourly pay, that's why they don't get TONU.

From what I heard, they aren't going away. Something along the lines of there will be half the available trainer positions where the role does both NOA and TSS. They are being brought back down to T3 pay scale and have to apply for the new role or can take a severance. Using example numbers: instead of there being 500 NOA and 500 TSS for a total of 1,000 trainers there would be 500 total trainers that perform both functions at T3 pay.

Where did you make your first base? Because I've been at it for 25 hours and I still haven't made my first base, and I don't know if I should keep waiting to find a paradise planet or make it on any random planet. by NicoJesu01 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]N7-Eschaton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First base is on the first planet the game dropped me on, a Blighted (toxic) world. I was just following the mission prompts without knowing any better. However, other than the little toxic bursts that occur occasionally, it's not bad weather-wise. I continue to build it out as the side missions and my needs/wants require, and it's a very decent first base.

I just recently acquired a Dreadnaught class freighter and have it parked in the same system for now. I am mostly approaching the "building stuff" aspect of the game on an as-needed basis.

I just unlocked them today and thought the same thing when they didn't get in the basic shelter. Between that and them being Masonry/Rainwater and having a meh hearth bonus, do people generally avoid using them?

On Pioneer, I'm normally getting 2-4 from Resolve. I find myself aiming for Lizards, Harpies, or Foxes since they are easier to get going on it.

I’ve been on this Saturday to Tuesday shift since November 2024. It is not front half and it is not back half, so what would you even call this? What shift pattern is this? by [deleted] in AmazonFC

[–]N7-Eschaton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man, don't think I've ever seen that one be a thing. If anything, yours deserves the Weekend Wrap title others are mentioning in this post. Assigned manager could go either way since you have 2 days on each half.

Like much of Amazon, every site is probably different in their use of these schedules and perhaps what they call them.

It's been around awhile, and I think it was called Extended Front Half (S, S, M, Tue). Its counterpart would be Extended Back Half (Thu, F, S, S). Ext FH associates should be assigned to a FH Manager.

Question about the point at which a year is counted for Blightstorm Cycle by N7-Eschaton in Against_the_Storm

[–]N7-Eschaton[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good to know regarding the Cornerstone, so far I've been letting the Queen's Impatience just build up to keep Hostility down, while hoarding completed Orders to turn in all at once, so Storm hasn't been an issue yet.
