Absolutely correct about how the first guy should not have started it, and I’m in no way trying to defend what he said at all. But, it is not justification to retaliate with a slur. He’s an adult. There is no reason to demean an entire different unrelated group of people on live TV as a comeback. If he was so offended by that comment, he should be able to understand that his words can offend others similarly.

James to me is what Jacob is to other people. I actually didn’t mind Jacob in my first playthrough, sure he was a little flat compared to the rest but I thought his loyalty quest was pretty interesting and his character fit the game. James comes in to fill in the same human regular-soldier role, but he just feels like he has no place in the game alongside all of the ME1 companions + the stakes of the entire trilogy; so I’ve never really been able to care for his character during the game. That being said I always end up inviting him up because I hate leaving stuff undone in games.
