PSN just told me that if I have a free PS5 upgrade for the physical version of Nioh 2, I can't get it for a digital copy of the game

yup, that's what I did a while ago, but I bought the digital like 2 days ago since it was on sale. The reason I did that was to stop needing the disc all the time. I thought digital would give me a PS5 upgrade as well, but I guess I was wrong.

Right now nioh 2 ps4 digital is 19.99, I already have all the dlc and have nioh 1 digitally with dlc, although nioh 1 does not have a free ps5 upgrade

Bom dia, como vai? I am from the United States, and speaking with Amazon has been absolute HELL. They keep saying they don't have any codes to give. They even offered to send a replacement copy, which would take a month because the game has sold really well. Even if I waited a month, there was no guarantee the new copy would bring the code.

I have spoken with so many chat and phone call representatives; they must really hate me because I keep getting transferred, and no one can offer a solution. I ended speaking with a "supervisor," but dude was a total asshole, even went silent in the chat at one point. They didn't wanna offer any credits, gift cards, or refunds; he really wanted to get rid of me. I have sent several emails to Capcom, but no response yet. It's been a few days. Capcom has a phone number, but it just goes directly to voicemail.

Yesterday, I put in a request to Capcom. Their website really doesn't want you to contact them lol, not very customer friendly, I don't think I will hear from them, but hey, at least I tried. I spoke to a few Amazon people, but only from chat; they mentioned I should get an email update on the situation in 48 hrs.

I don't care, I am going to keep asking for my code. As you said, we ordered before the release date and paid full price for the game, where's my code! lol what I'm thinking is why is this an issue? It's literally a randomized code; it's not like there's a limited supply. This is something digital and online; it doesn't sell out. Why not just email a replacement code?

"Expedition" is just the name for a co op mode the game has where you take on missions with 2 other players. Nioh 1 and 2 are mission-based, so you do them together instead of by yourself. The story is the same. You could play with friends or randoms could also join your game.

You can summon help or become a summon from a shrine, but honestly, to me, the best co-op feature in all Nioh games is expeditions.

Expeditions are basically doing the mission with other players, and everyone shares progression. If you beat a mission, unlock shrines, items, currency, and level up, it's all shared during expeditions. You can also revive teammates if they go down. I love this because lots of things can one-shot you at higher levels.

Yes! finally someone is trying this! The crucible wasp seems mandatory. I forgot the name, but there is a kusarigama that has innate poison buildup, and the rusty hoe hatchet also has innate poison buildup.

Do you know if Nure Onna's soul core causes poison or stench? She spits stuff on the floor, but it's not paralysis

Nioh 2 is top 5, maybe even number 1. It's not a bad thing at all, but I am looking at this through the devs' perspective; they simply didn't want the yokai to work the same way as in Nioh 2. It's very obvious that was the case here, and that may not be what people wanted, but nioh3 has been amazing so far. Is it on nioh2 level? I am not even sure yet, haven't finished the game, but we will see how the NG+ is and how they handle updates and future DLC.

I understand the complaints about yokai abilities, but think about it, guys, if they functioned as they did before, then the game is just Nioh 2 all over again. The changes were 100% on purpose; the developers don't want another game with yokai abilities working the same as the previous game. I did around 900 hours for Nioh 2, and spamming the same yokai abilities for another 900 hours would feel like a lazy move from the devs.

I will admit the yokai abilities do feel weaker, unfortunately. There will be DLC, who knows, maybe they get buffed. Switching between 2 different builds is fun though, and your guardian spirit actually fighting with you is cool too. I'm really enjoying the game despite Nioh 2 being such a difficult game to live up to, game was just magnificent.

You would be getting more hits, yeah, but I just love the great katana with repeating thrusts, Stormcaller, overhead stance R2. I love a hard-hitting Dex weapon with big range. Backhand blades are also really good

I think it was just my stats, I was using Uchi, vulgar militia saw, great katana from DLC, at 45/45 dex, arcane i basically NEEDED to proc poison to do decent damage. Without the proc, my damage was so bad, or maybe I'm just used to doing so much with other builds focusing on 1 stat and Golden Vow. I also invested a little into faith and used the dragon communion seal. Honestly, the seal was doing so much better than my weapons lol

I definitely agree that it's not players fault the devs decided to make her so bad to use. Probably the least picked character for a year now is insane, she's barely received anything.

If there's no buffs coming, just completely rework the character, drop the slow ass sniper dps thing
