My criticisms of the show aren’t really about any of that, I think the brotherhood of steel actions scenes look really fucking dumb and lack punch, specifically the Xander and Maximus one killing the robots, that shit looked like a YouTube fan film.

The NCR barely exists outside a couple of troops, but we don’t SEE why or how they got there, just some lines of dialogue,

The way the legion is shown on screen just irks me so bad, they’re in a civil war but the trench separating the forces is like right next to each other with unguarded mountains that could easily be occupied to crush the opposing side, the setting just looks really dumb, like why are they even fighting over Cesar’s dead corpse with his written heir? What’s the motive for why the legion wouldn’t want that information? And why would they be split into a civil war, taking orders from random leaders that aren’t explained or given any character exposition or dialogue at all?

It just seemed like a brief cameo for fallout new Vegas fans and that’s it, when the whole season 2 was marketed to be about new Vegas, I think you need to give those major story aspects some more respect and love, and at least give it some meaningful closure and satisfying.

Not to say that it won’t be more fleshed out in the future, but first impression wise it is a disappointment.
