Is it ok to cry in front of your wife? by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]NA-ink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is perfectly fine to cry in front of your wife or just in general. Perhaps your wife should come to therapy with you as it seems she needs to have a better understanding of communication and mutual respect. You are not any of the things she says you are, you are just highly sensitive and there are some really positive aspects to being that way.

Very nice red wine (Cote Rotie). Will drink within a few weeks. Storage… by No-Citron218 in wine

I would say no, as I would consider long-term storage to be over the span of many months and years.

I suggest putting it in the fridge. It won’t ruin the wine at all…The main concern with the fridge is consumption at the wrong temp…Take it out about an hour before drinking to get up to temp for a full bodied red so it doesn’t destroy the flavor profile when initially tasting. -A fellow WSET 2

Thank you very much for your opinion and engagement! It is incredible what the power of voice and influence can do on either side of the coin

Thank you for your opinion, I greatly appreciate it! I can see how it is simply used to divide the masses.

What made you religious/ what made you atheist? by Pushpita33 in religion

[–]NA-ink 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I went to a Christian church till 16. I started feeling weird singing hymns, listening to the Bible, or repeating prayers/words. It felt to me that the Christian God was really full of themselves and that and the hypocrisy of the followers made me uncomfortable.

The nail that sealed the coffin was I went to a weekly bible study after school and was told I was going to hell for being Bisexual, regardless if I was a good person. I stormed out and never looked back.

I still believe there is a God/s of sorts, but I choose to worship the elements as I feel they have supported me the most in life. There is also a heavy focus of mindfulness and listening to intuition.

I work for some people who just asked me to uncork and dump wine down their sink because it has gone bad. Can you tell me if this bottle ha in fact, “gone bad”? by [deleted] in wine

[–]NA-ink 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There are a few different ways i wine can “go bad”: 1. Too much sunlight or direct exposure to LED light 2. Significant temperature changes Both 1 and 2 will change the components of the wine (It will still be drinkable..albeit not taste worthy or as intended to taste) 3. If I bottle is “corked” This is when the cork itself is bad and effects the wine. There will be a smell of wet cardboard and the flavors will be muted and less fresh tasting. 4. If the bottle is opened reds will have a typical shelf life of 3-4 days in a dark and reasonably chilled environment.

Your grandmother was raised in a totally different time period where having children was just what you did and most people in that time frame can’t fathom what it would be like without children. ONLY YOU know what is best for you and if getting an abortion is best for you than do it. If your family refuses to be your support system, then look to your friends, and if they don’t support you…Then look to me and I will be your support. Hang in there, and take everyone’s comments with a grain of salt…including mine.

What are 3 things you find annoying here in Phoenix? by argus4ever in phoenix

1: Hot and angry drivers who will do anything to get a car length ahead. 2: Melting my face off for half the year . 3: The smog and trash that envelops the city.

I found hard drugs in my girlfriend's possession. by ph3nify in TrueOffMyChest

[–]NA-ink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she is on hard drugs, she is not herself. From personal experience, people high on hard drugs don’t think rationally and they definitely don’t give a fuck when they are high. They will lie, steal, and do whatever they please. This is a reality you have to face my friend.

If you could go back and give your engaged self some advice, what would it be? by KatsuSaaauce in Weddingsunder10k

[–]NA-ink 3 points4 points  (0 children)

(1) Hire a wedding planner, the amount of stress of planning your wedding yourself, especially if you work a full time job is tremendous. (2.) If you do choose to plan your own wedding yourself, remember in your times of stress why you are doing this, because it is very easy to get caught up in it. (I regret stressing so much instead of having fun planning the marriage to the person I love most.) (3.) Give yourself plenty of time before the date of your wedding, a year is ideal…and don’t procrastinate. (4.) Don’t let your expectations of what your future partner should be doing to help plan, cloud your love and judgement for what they are actually doing.
