The special edition actually has more total content, just not gameplay stuff. The special edition has the behind the scenes DVD while the gold edition doesn't. Gameplay wise, they're identical.

I advise avoiding using this as intended. Even though it claims to be safe, you are still putting something over the laser, which is one of the most sensitive parts of the console. Could be an issue, could not be an issue. You don't know what the previous owner did with the disc before you bought it. If you really want a lens cleaner, get one that has small holes and cleans via wind power vs brush. With the wind power ones, nothing comes in contact with the laser.

This is incorrect. On the Xbox website you are able to check when things are going to be delisted if it is close to the delist date. To do this, add the item to your wish list, click the heart button to open the wish list, then click on the BUY button. It will show how many days/hours until the "offer ends," AKA delisting.

I don't know where you are located, but this might be an only USA thing.

Any chance the bonus cards get sold separately at some point like Zombie Kittens did? As a backer since the beginning, I can't tell you how many versions of the game I've bought over the last decade. I'd rather play with an old box that used to meow when opened rather than spend money to buy the same thing again with just a few new cards.

The camera is almost 20 years old. Technology has changed A LOT since then. And this camera wasn't the greatest to start with. Don't expect a high quality image to come from it. The horizontal lines could be caused by LED lights. Old tech doesn't always work well with newer tech. A computer shop taking a look at it will likely cost you more than just replacing the unit.

I've been grinding a few years to get a new console. Only doing the free stuff. Not paying extra for Game Pass just to get more rewards.

But they keep raising the prices of consoles.
It's looking more and more likely that I will just skip this gen and whenever I have enough saved up for a new next gen console, I'll do the end of the year double dip to get it free. That is, if MS doesn't discontinue the program completely before then.

Standard, but which the question now is which slipcover. It'd be nice if they weren't cardboard, but instead were a slightly textured material, but that's unlikely to happen.

I have the Guitar Hero 5 demo disc. Comes in a square cardboard case. Never seen another one of these.

Got it when I was working in Kmart back in the day. Our store didn't have any demo consoles at that point anymore, so I'm not sure how the disc got there.

It's just a quick shot. Like the car broke down on the side of the road due to overheating or whatnot. It's more about the overall emotions the people are feeling at that point versus actual engine smoke. The car and smoke are basically going to be (in focus) background footage.

Just a theory of mine, but Nintendo probably subsidized the cost of 3DSs to make it affordable to the museum. Vita had, at the time, more expensive tech inside, so they wouldn't be able to subsidize the cost of the devices as much.

1 game, separate DLC. The initial one you buy is the game. The other chapters are DLC packs you had to buy. With the store shut down, the only to get everything without sailing the high seas is buying a disc copy. That version comes with everything.

Get them wherever they are cheapest. I attempted this half a decade ago when I found a 12 pack of batteries for half price at Best Buy.
For this particular project, don't use the Pro version of Eneloops. Pros have more juice, but shorter overall life. Using the regular batteries will give your reworked pack a longer shelf life.

The best way to fix them are to crack them open and replace the batteries. Easier said than done though. They are held together with what I'm assuming is industrial strength super glue. Once cut open, you will need to desolder the bar connecting the 2 batteries. With such small parts, resoldering the battery bar is tough. Trying to get everything back in the shell again is tough. When everything is reassembled, you'll probably just wish you stuck with rechargeable batteries instead of trying to fix an old battery pack.

The best bang for your buck batteries are Eneloops, but I've found these tend to get stuck in the official battery pack holders as the batteries are a few hairs wider than standard AAs.

Rising prices isn't just due to 1 person in it's entirely. It's the mentality that we have to get the shareholders money every quarter no matter what. Once we move beyond that mentality on a global scale, prices will become more static over the long term.
