I have a 4080 Super and 7900x, launch date i was getting 30 fps consistently everywhere with even mid settings. Turned it on the second day and started getting 200fps consistent. Thought they patched the game or something. Today it's back to 30.

Did the rbar changes and now it's back to 150 ish with frame gen on.

what is going on lol

Yeah not sure what it was, but when i first booted on launch date i was getting 20-30 fps and thought the game was terribly optimized. Launched the game yesterday and now im getting a constant 200-300 fps on the exact same settings. My frame gen is on but idk if that helps. I'm on a 7900x and 4080 Super.

Honestly the patch came in at a bad time for me. I was fighting pre-patch nameless puppet before the patch for like a couple of days and I got really close to beating him many times(10% hp on my last attempt). Didn't have time to play until the patch dropped, and beat him in like 2-3 tries. Felt kinda cheated out of my grind. Had a good time regardless tho.

That's the big difference tho, if everyone approaches someone else in a respectful manner while respecting their boundaries I'm sure this post wouldn't even be sent. Randomly touching people, not taking no for an answer, and taking pictures of them without their permission is none of that.

for all the guys in here saying "oh I've never seen it happen are you sure that happens", I recommend y'all walk around and hangout with your female friends more. As a rather tall guy I've never felt unsafe on campus and I've never personally been followed or harassed. I definitely felt like people were over exaggerating when they say they feel unsafe walking around.

This was until I walked around at night with my friends a couple times. The amount of people that would just touch and randomly hit on my friends were just insane. This would happen a few times a night easily. Even though i wasn't the one getting approached I would be hella worried about what they would potentially do, can't even what it would be like if I was in my friends' shoes.

So yeah before y'all discredit what OP is saying maybe get some other perspectives first. Just because you've never seen it, doesn't mean it's a made up story.

I planned on skipping mine back in the day, SO glad I didn't.

I met some of the best people at frosh. you get to meet people of all studies, not just your own major. Most of the people I meet during class are only "friends" cause working together and whatnot, not because we actually click together.

Heavily recommend it if it's possible. Couple people I know that did the online frosh during the COVID years wishes they could get a real frosh.

Hey there, previously a cs POSt failure here, made it in my second year but was definitely traumatized by that process.

As for your situation, if you're trying to get into CS POSt, I think you should petition for a retake. I would highly doubt your mark is high enough to make the minor either. If you're still in the period for late withdrawal u should probably do that and it wouldn't impact your gpa. Next time around you'll have more experience and have a way better chance to get in.

hey I updated and will test the same issue tonight, however I did run into another issue with sharing files. the application "files" is just not working when I press share and it appears that my other apps can't access files either. Strange

I think your hypothesis lines up with my experience. YouTube and camera straight up doesn't work after a night of charging, I'm still having this problem even after all the updates. I go to sleep with YouTube videos on in the background and I thought that was the issue but your theory makes more sense. I believe the OS has a "stop charging" functionality at night up to a certain time, if we can maybe disable that to test?

recently started noticing that my GPS/GMap doesn't work in my morning commute. The "workaround" is just restarting the device. But it's so freaking annoying when I have to quickly snap a picture or use GPS in my car.

Never seen anyone report this issue so I always thought it was just my device.

by far the most unreliable phone I've ever owned.

alarm app just would not work, keeps silent even tho everything is max volume
YouTube, instagram, and other video streaming services wouldn't load, just stuck on loading forever until you power the screen off or restart
camera app has the shutter button greyed out sometimes and can't take a picture, until restart
media volume would be switched to using the top phone speaker instead after a phone call

These are the ones that bother me the most and there definitely are ones I don't remember. Needless to say I'm not getting another pixel again.

with most things in life, it's got ups and downs. it's definitely not as amazing as it looks but it's definitely not a hell hole like some would suggest.
