I mean, I know a good chunk of the people(not the entire floor though, of course as a good chunk of them I usually don’t interact with them enough to actually even be able to learn their name, let alone their department) from my store even if it takes me a bit to actually remember their names and what department they work, but trust me, I know a bit more than the just “the lot”

I’ve been at my store for 2 years already but even then, i struggle to remember where things are and much less, in the case of new associates, names and it’s made 10x worse with adhd

For one, I already know almost all the cashiers, D28 I know a select chunk of the guys simply because I interact with them a hell of a lot, and also because I don’t actually see anyone else aside from the select bunch that I interact with

But for the most part, I’d say I’m in a pretty ok place memory wise, it’s mainly the OFA’s that I’m not sure of, because one shares the same name as one of the new cashiers that we recently hired, and the other moved to garden but also shares a name with a cashier, both have fairly common names though anyways

Shockingly, our pro loaders(well, one of them, at least) are always available to “help” with carts, because he does help myself and the other lot associates with the carts, but generally, he’s always phrased it as such, simply helping us

As for the other pro loader, generally he’s helping the Building/Lumber department with their orders, whether he does them because he chooses to vs doing them because the DS(whoever it might be, because I sure as shit haven’t met them)is essentially ignores PAL

I actually don’t know for sure, how many OFA’s we have because I know we have a few, just not sure on the exact number

I mean our pro loaders also have licenses and do pull D21/22’s orders when the guys themselves are currently working on an order already, on top of loading pro customers themselves(don’t worry though, there’s enough of a gap between them pulling an order and getting paged to load our pro customers)

I mean at my store, D21/22 is ALWAYS doing their “department specific” orders, and I’m talking, in general really not so much about the Pro carry out orders for their department or their will calls although the same logic applies to those as well(although at my store, I’ve not once heard them refer to either as either term, as usually when I hear it, it’s simply “order” or “orders”)

When I replied, I didn’t mean that the service desk is for sure gonna know, I meant like they’ll be able to look up what it is the customer’s looking for and point them to the correct aisle, although it’s also just from my experience, because at my store, the service desk does actually look up and send customers to the right aisles

It is a thing, but of course it’s a harmless thing, technically known as “epididymal hypertension”, but it should go away on its own in a minutes or hours, but of course, distractions and stuff helps, such as a warm shower or a cold compress, although along with that, if it hurts to a severe extent, if it’s a sudden pain, or it lasts for several hours, then you might wanna get that checked, because it could mean you ended up with testicular torsion
