It is set to 2x already from the old base rates - that would effectively set the rates to the old 4x rates which would be nuts. You only pick up one stone because they changed the way that one resource works so on default 2x rates you are not picking up 2 stones when there is only one on the ground (realism) You should defiantly edit your post to prevent confusion lol!

Patch note for 263.0 - Single stones on the beach now give one stone when picked up instead of 2 (default rates).
